Coming off good performances but not quite getting the result against Swindon and Shrewsbury, I hope that we can finally put the ball in the fucking goal and pick up 3 points. Should hopefully have a new centre back in by tuesday so Ricketts can get rested. McCann comes in for his debut which is a big bonus as well.

No new centre backs despite two supposedly being close last week so Willis and Ricketts will have to play again despite Mowbray already admitting that them playing two games a week is a risk. Sordell sounds like he's still injured so the same toothless attack as Saturday.

An honest assessment I thought Coventry had no cutting edge in attack first half Saturday and were poor second half when really we should have taken 3 points off you not 1 in the end.

I tried to leave at HT last season, got out and realised there was bugger all places to go aside from the Casino. When I tried to enter they told me I had to join to go in, the bouncer then told me I was to pissed to enter so, with my three brothers still being in the away end I had little choice but to sneak back into the away end to watch Coventry finish us off. Sad thing was, that result was not even a slight catalyst for Coventry to turn their season around, I recall they only won one or two other games after that farce which tells its own sad story. 'I know, I will drop Peter Clarke for Reese Brown,' genius.
If Flitcroft has learned from any of his mistakes we will get something tonight.

Pretty much right in your assessment of us, only thing I disagree with is you saying you should have taken the 3 points. Shrewsbury were poor throughout the whole match at the weekend and should not have won.

No, but we weren't as awful as people seem to be making out. Bury didn't trouble our defence all night really. All tonight showed me is that Thomas and Tudgay aren't good enough at this level and when we have a new number 9 and Jones/Reid fit, then we'll look a lot more dangerous going forward.

I'm not worried about the season, don't think we will be in any relegation danger. Was fairly encouraged by the cup match and Shrewsbury performance but there's no getting around it was an awful performance from us last night. Not knee jerk, just calling it as it is.
