De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Schweinsteiger, Schneiderlin, Lingard, Herrera, Martial, Rooney

Thought Carrick would've started tonight, but he's been poor by his standards this season so I'm not that fussed. Delighted Lingard is being eased into the fold, he's been so unlucky with injuries and deserves a fair chance, hopefully he takes it.

Clear penalty for CSKA there - we got a little unlucky with the rebound but there may have been enough time for the defenders to get back and put some pressure on.

We are playing like I do on FIFA when I've got a 1-0 lead to hold onto from about the 80th minute onwards.

Was always gonna be a difficult away and I'm happy with the point. We were shit for the first hour, Herrera was probably the only one looking likely to create that spark but generally our passing was terrible and we constantly gave away possession because of it. We missed Mata in that respect and Blind should have either started or came on at half time.

Great to see Lingard given his opportunity too, had a decent game and showed glimpses of he can be capable of.

Martial didn't have much space to work with today, they doubled up and closed him down almost instantly but he kept his head up after giving away the penalty and scored a brilliant header off the post to make up for it.

Thought we'd go on to win it after getting the equalizer but a point is a good result I suppose, I'd back us to win our remaining home games and progress to the next round.

Shit performance, good result.

That's the headline the Telegraph are running, anyway.

We were pretty shite. Always seem to take a step forward, then two steps back in terms of performances. Despite being poor we could have gone on to win the game. A point away in Russia isn't the worst result.

Martial NEEDS to play up front. Rooney isn't doing enough leading the line. Martial is a much bigger threat going forward. Took his goal superbly tonight.

I don't think we were that bad, it's hard for any team to break down a well drilled, disciplined defence, especially when they've got pace and quality on the break.

I agree Martial should play upfront, really hope he does on Sunday.

Tough game. CSKA are a better team than I gave them credit for, solid at the back and insanely quick on the break. Was a crap first half performance by United, our standard moving the ball around and probing but not actually getting anywhere. Subs changed the game around, Schweinsteiger off for Fellaini sounds bonkers but Fellaini has a way of disrupting tight defences and it showed in the second half. Rojo was really poor, he looked terrified to go forward. Blind is always going to be the better choice at left back, he goes forward and then cuts the passing lanes behind him, pretty much neutralised CSKA when he came on.

Martial up front would be ideal, but then Rooney will just drop back to 10 and Herrera back on the bench. It's a lose lose thanks to LVG.
