I have hit a wall. The last two bosses are ridiculously hard.

Bielsa's bucket
just realised I've never played dark souls 2

I've played demon souls and dark souls 1, think I should take on Dark Souls 2 before I buy 3

I summoned help for the final, final boss because life is too short and I had somewhere to be.

So I have completed the first four bosses, no problem!

I am now at the Cathedral of the Deep and keep dying where there are two assassin types with twin blades.

I am not sure I have the patience to play this lol.

That whole section is an absolute c*** to play and bad level design relative to Miyazaki's usual standards IMO. Just before that there is an unavoidable ambush with no less than six thralls in a tight space: that sort of shit is just unfair.

Yeah, I got killed by a glitch on that room with the thrall.

Got to what I assume is the last boss, can sense a 'cinematic and second form' from this guy. Thinking I should leave it until I want to start ng+ since in BB it went straight into ng+ after the final boss.

You get to choose if you want to do NG+ at any time after from the bonfire, so dot worry about it.

It is Havel. I don't know why they brought him back? Torturing him because he hated Seath? Do they even like Seath at the Archdragon Peak? I ain't read none of the lore for that area yet.

I think it's just a Havel Knight, like a follower of Havel. Took me ages to kill him. I also had loads of trouble with Tsorig until i lured the Dark Knight to him and the Dark Knight destroyed him.

I am taking a break from this game. Really enjoyed it, but not rushing into NG+ anytime soon

I don't have PS+, my internet here is too shit. Kinda pissed off at the amount of grinding for rare drops I gotta do if I want the covenant items.

Probably not, it only affects item discovery.

Omgomgomgomg! I actually beat Nameless solo. Took about 3 hours or trying altogether. Fuck that boss fight.

Tell me about it, got to the point that I could beat the first phase using only one estus, usually 'cos of that BS flame attack. Then just be patient, one mistimed doge basically meant stunlock and death.

Crystal Sage was easiest for me tbh. Died a few time just trying to get to the big guy then missed first time I went for it.

I did Nameless solo, but got lucky. I did the solo equivalent of ganking: a good first phase meant I had 11 estus so I could go hell for leather in the 2nd. Crystal Sage had low vitality so it was easy to tank its HP bar, but those multiple forms and their magic attacks were fuckers.

What was lucky about it? I had around 13 estus moving in to phase 2 and still had to pop an ember to make it
