Derby look to make it 3 wins in a row in all competitions when they take on Ipswich Town at the iPro on Saturday.
After a mixed start to the season, Derby got back to their goal scoring best with a 5-1 thrashing of newly relegated Fulham last weekend and a 1-0 win against Charlton in the cup midweek. Derby have won their last 9 competitive home games and have conceded only once at home since the start of the season.

Ipswich will still be hurting after their recent defeat to local rivals Norwich City. Despite beating Fulham 2-1 at the start of the season, Ipswich have struggled to find the back of the net, resulting in 3 defeats and a draw since.

Last season's fixture back in October saw a scintillating match, with Ipswich leading the Rams 1-4 at half time. The first team talk by the newly appointed Steve McClaren, who was watching from the stands as he had not then officially become Head Coach, galvanised the Rams. They scored 3 second half goals to level the score at 4-4.

Teams:
Derby from: Grant, Christie, Keogh, Buxton, Forsyth, Hendrick, Hughes, Eustace, Bryson, Ward, Martin, Russell, Shotton, Best, Santos, Calero, Dawkins, Roos, Whitbread
Ipswich from: Gerken, Chambers, Mings, Hyam, Berea, Smith, Anderson, Skuse, McGoldrick, Murphy, Tabb, Henshall, Bru, Sammon

Buxton may be rested for Derby as he's currently suffering with a hip flexor injury. McClaren could start Whitbread in his place. Shotton, after impressing on his debut midweek, could be brought in as a replacement right back for Christie. McClaren may stick with Eustace in the holding role leaving the highly rated Will Hughes on the bench.

McCarthy will be hoping McGoldrick is back to full fitness to fire in much needed goals for the Tractor Boys. Ipswich will be without the on loan Conor Sammon as he is ineligible to play against his parent club.

Derby seem to have now picked up where they left off as last season's Championship top scorers and I predict a comfortable 2-0 win for the Rams.
