Just writing that thread title out is a horrible reminder of that Playoff Final.

QPR have Austin back and he'll probably be the difference.

Derby 1-2 QPR

Tom Ince still not fit and George Thorne misses this one due to suspension which is not ideal. CDM is a key position for our system to work so it'll interesting to see who Clement goes for.

We're gonna need that protection Thorne gives us defensively as Rangers seem to be free flowing in front of goal.

Radio Derby for me this time whilst I drive back from Manchester airport, sure I'll hear the Bobby Z taunts still.

Score draw.

Expecting the worst here, especially with Clint Hill out. Says it all about our recruitment that missing a 37 year old is a blow for us.

2-0.

We can't and won't keep winning. I'm sure we're going to lose this - 2-0.

4-0 Derby.

But at least we can sing Bobby Zamoras name for some entertainment.

I have no idea how many fans we are taking. I would be surprised if we took over 1k so even if we do sing it, you wont hear it.

That'll do.

3 points, clean sheet and the run continues. Shame about the left back injuries, might leave us in a pickle for Friday.

We were 7 points off top a couple of weeks ago, now just the one point off but ourselves along with Hull, Burnley and Boro are on a serious roll at the moment.

The mighty Rams!!!
Defensively you looked organised until we upped the tempo a little and put you under the cosh. It was going forward that you didn't really offer much. It was very much either long ball into Austin or Phillips would do a mazy run but eventually run into too many Derby defenders.

We lost before KO with that team. Absolutely no ambition showed, no plan B when it was obvious we would concede at some point. Clueless.

Surely those players are more than good enough to get you back out of this league? Just a change of approach/manager from an outsider looking in?

I agree with you.

At the start of the season, we were expecting to be losing Austin, Fer etc and playing with a young, yet attacking exciting style of play whilst finishing around 10th and the fans were happy with this.

What happened is we kept all of our good players, we are playing old players over youth and we have no style other than pump it long and hope for the best.

Get someone like Pearson in, who plays attacking football and we will do very well again.

That made me laugh. Saw Ramsey's comments beforehand, and then he sets you up like that!

P.S. I liked that Rammie got sent to the stands for imitating the linesman
