All my lovely predictions lost, lost forever. And not only my good ones, all the embarrassing totally awful ones that other people had made. The world will never know their shame now because I can't bump the fuckers. What a shame, what a damn shame.

So, we must not dwell, but carry on regardless. A new forum, a new prediction thread. It may take a couple of years to become a really effective tool to name and shame your rivals, but take comfort from the fact it will always be here, just waiting patiently, to be used and abused.

Amen.

Can you predict Villa to get relegated this season? I would feel very reassured.

I predict a riot.

Oh, and Southampton to finish in the top four, and Liverpool to finish above Man United.

I'll stick my neck out and say a battling win for the underdogs. 1-0 United.

Bilo to continue to let Liverpool's form dictate his activity on a website.

Ok Dessie let's hear you.
  • Top 4?
  • Who's going down with QPR and Hull (feel free to say if you reckon one of those two won't go down)? Leicester or Burnley? Or, heavin forbid, Villa?
  • Are Arsenal gonna beat Monaco?
  • Are Dortmund going down?
  • Are Preston going up?
  • Am I gonna stay on the dole for long?

Well first I think we should make it clear that I'm not a monkey that jumps through hoops (that's Bilo) but as a show of good faith I will do my best to give my fans what they want.

I must point out however I hardly watch the BPP (Boring Premier League) anymore so I couldn't even tell you who holds fourth spot currently. If I had to pick a top 4 Id go Chelsea, City, United, Arsenal.

Going down will be Leicester, QPR and sadly Burnley.

Arsenal will beat Monaco and Dortmund will go down. Italian strikers in the Bundesliga don't work.

Preston won't go up and you will be fine mate.

All the best.

BVB won't go down, but I can't see them storming back either. Reus, Gundogan, and Hummels will be massive transfer sagas this summer. I've cooled on my love for Hummels—I used to think he'd outgrow his inconsistencies due to his composure and maturity, but he continues to look a worldie one day and mid-table the next. Reus would slot in any starting XI outside of Barca and Madrid. Sadly I think he'll end up at City. Gundogan should be high on Liverpool and Man United's shopping list. Perfect fit for both sides.

Hummels at his best was with an in-form Subotic by his side. Gundogan was one of the best midfielders in the world before his injury, in my opinion.

Is Hummels the ideal long-term replacement for Mertesacker?

Is Hummels the ideal long-term replacement for Mertesacker?

Yes, but that isn't to say they are identical in playing style. There isn't a better passer of the ball from the back than Hummels. He'd be ideal if we transition into a more counter-attacking side because instead of Mertesacker playing it to Arteta/Coq, who then play it to Ramsey, etc.—Hummels can quickly play it into Ramsey, Özil, or even the wingers. He's a natural leader and a composed individual. It's been evident since his arrival in the first team at BVB—everyone respects him. He can be tremendous in the air. He' s not as tall as Mertesacker, but he's more athletic. He also lacks in pace, but partnering with Koscielny/Gabriel helps counteract that. He has his shockers—as does Mertesacker—but, as you are well aware, people have been telling Arsenal they need someone to lead by example on the pitch for ages. Alexis does that. Hummels would certainly do that.

He's recently 26, so he's still maturing as a player. Similar to most CB's, I expect him to be nearing his prime. He'd be an instant fan favourite similar to Alexis—he's very likable.

Aston Villa really struggling, they've almost become THE laughing stock of BPL football.

Who could have seen that a few years ago? Ah yes, moi. #PowerShift :)

I'll throw one in as I've been really impressed with him this season.

Harrison Reed to become the lynchpin of England's midfield within the next 2-3 seasons. He is what we are crying out for, a defensive midfielder who can tackle, works his bollocks off, positionally decent and is composed on the ball.

He's really pushed on a level this season. It's been good to see and it makes the loss of Schneiderlin easier to take. He went above Cork in the CM pecking order after some good performances.
