Harsher penalties for parole violaters
Can't believe there isn't a thread for this already. League 2's second biggest game of the year (the biggest of course being with our 6 fingered friend's visit the theatre of greens)

Argyle had a somewhat slow start to the season but have turned their form around, having failed to win a game through January, an elusive first win in February has sparked them to 3 straight wins so far this month while Exeter a winless in their last 5 games. But of course, Derby day, form goes out the window.

Exeter will be looking for some revenge for the 3-0 humiliation they suffered when they visited Home Park on match day 2 back in August, where as Argyle will be trying hard not to repeat the woeful 3-1 loss they suffered on their last visit to the Pig Pen last season.

Exeter are shite at home, and Argyle are in a bit of form.

Therefore…home win, probably.

If this game was being played a couple months back I'd be very confident of us beating you. As it happens we've won like 1 in 9 and Argyle have won their last 3. We need to rediscover some form if we're serious about making the playoffs this season.

Just shy of 7,000 tickets have been sold for this one so far.

I think we'll lose but if we actually turn up for the first time post Grimes then we'll win as I do think we're just a better side than Plymouth.

Same talk all the time from you lot. "Oh, the grounds made up of Argyle in all stands" No it isn't.

Couldn't care less. Nearly sold out so should be a good atmosphere. Hopefully with Argyle fans in the WTS stand they may make a little bit of noise for the first time ever in a derby.

HT: Exeter 1-1 Argyle

I expect JS to give the defence a half time bollocking for letting in that sloppy goal

FT: Exeter 1-3 Argyle

Argyle were down to 10 men in the 61st Minuite with Olly Lee sent off. Ruben scores a Hat Trick with 1 of them from the spot.

3 points well earned. The Scum just gave up second half

Great result and good performance from Argyle. Controlled the first half and moved the ball round well, only a brief lapse in concentration allowed City to head in level. The sending off obviously affected the game plan but they adapted well and easily soaked up everything City were able to throw at them and gave themselves a cushion with a good counter attack. Brunt should have made it 4 after replacing Reid with another break and fudged clearance from a City defender left him 1 on 1 but a great save from the City keeper kept it at 3.
Was hard work keeping quiet behind the City dug out

Well seeing as they're surprisingly not showing up in this thread yet, I guess I'd better post for the Exeter people.

*Ahem*

Something something this was us being shit, not Argyle being good. Something something something Reuben Reid is still out of weight and shit. Yada yada couldn't hear the away support. Something lucky something something shit decision something GARGOYLE.

You're welcome, Exeter fans.

We found out yesterday that the Exeter City defence has a lot in common with a girl from Swilly.
They both go down too often and are easily penetrated.

even got a free ride in first class on the way back, what a top day in general.

Thought the first half was a largely even affair, in the sense that we played well up until 25 minutes and Exeter the last 20. Looked a good finish from Reuben although it was almost impossible to see from the away end (jesus you lot need a new one), the Exeter goal was a good cross but the defending was an absolute disgrace.

In the second half we came out, controlled the game largely, definite penalty and finely converted, went a man down (harsh red) but it only galvanised us, and Reubs got another, wild scenes in the away end.

Exeter tidy enough first half, useless in the second. Was surprised to see Pym applaud the Green Army at full time, not like that Morrison p*ck trying to wind us up in the first half on two occasions, what a plonker he looks now. http://www.http://www.onefootballforum.co.uk/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Bragging rights with us.

I was at the back behind the goal, which is probably the best spot on the terrace, but that isn't saying much and you are correct, I got into the ground over an hour before KO, in recent years I've been on the escort and been squeezed in 10 minutes before KO, didn't fancy that again but despite that I still hadn't a clue what was going on at the other end most of the time.

There's enough space behind the goal to at least have a small stand with a roof, even a temporary one. What they have now is abysmal.

Also, nowhere behind the goal, even at the back of the stand can you see the goal line as it's blocked by advertising boards, at the front behind the goal, the six yard line isn't even visible, amateur.

I had the unpleasant experience of using the toilet facilities, 1 filthy cubicle with a broken toilet seat for 1300 people, hmmm.

All that said, still a fantastic day

They should be relegated to the Conference South until they sort it out
