After this was lost yesterda thought i'd repost it.

Anybody interesting trying to do this? Not going all out personally but try to get a new tick in if I can.

Done 75/92 and 129 in total - most of my new grounds nowadays are abroad or non league.

Never seen us play at Derby before and will do tomorrow but have ticked the ground as a neutral. Think I have seen Chesterfield play at around 85 grounds.

If I was harsh my own view is you can never have 'done the 92' unless you've seen your own side at the 92.

85 for your own club is a superb effort.

Yeah I like to try see as many as I can watching Chesterfield but a lot of the top grounds i've ticked we haven't played there whilst i've been going such as Chelsea, Liverpool etc. Though one day I hope to have seen us there!

Only ground elft in bottom two leagues is Cambridge so hoping they can drag themselves up sometime. If Brighton can get themselves relegated that would be excellent too - done the Withdean watching us but not the Amex.

Next new one for me is the Wankdorf stadium in Bern - also doing a double header in Germany of Frankfurt and Darmstadt in Feb too.

I completed it on Easter Monday at Brighton last season. Topped it up this season too by going to Cambridge when they got promoted, so Im back on 92. Obviously not all of them with my own club, its a bit hard when we havent been out of the top flight in 61 years! My overall total of all grounds is 137, though that includes everything, League, non league, rugby, foreign, and old grounds. Only 55 of them were with Everton!

I believe the only real way to 'do the 92' is to do it in the home end when they play against the club you hate the most in the whole world.

In the Faroe Islands, you can 'do the 22', the somewhat less-known Faroese equivalent, in a couple of weeks. Nearly all their football stadiums (I'm using the term loosely) are considerably bigger than the entire population of the town. The country's second national stadium at Toftir holds seven times more than the town's population of 823. If we followed the same fashion here in England, Wembley would hold 71.3 million people. This is several times more than even watched Wolves in the 1950s at Molineux.

In the Faroes, they don't chant "Who the fucking hell are you??!!", even in Danish, because they all know most of each other and are related to many of them.

I've managed to clock up 54/92 to date, with two more new grounds to come shortly in Villa and Wigan - so 56/92 soon to be.

If Bournemouth do go up to the Premiership at some stage in the coming years, then that would be a goldmine of new grounds to do. Trouble is I'd need to sell off various vital organs on the dark web, and remortgage the misses' flat, in order to do them.

I don't go out of my way to try and do it but when a chance arises I try and go. Watching City I've gone to 10 grounds

Blackpool
Portsmouth
Birmingham
Preston
Oldham
Carlisle
Leicester
Coventry
Walsall
Barnsley

Outside of watching City I've also been to

Man Utd
Swansea
Plymouth
Newport
Bournemouth

At least I think that's all...

I haven't been to many but I plan to go home and away with Southampton after university. I've been to:
Southampton
Bournemouth
Portsmouth
Leyton Orient
Brighton
not many but I have plenty of time left hopefully

I've never gone out my way to do it but due to my club's rapid demise I've currently clocked up 81 out of the current 92 and should make that 83 by the end of the season.

To be honest, with the way ticket prices are these days I can't imagine myself paying 25 odd quid to watch 2 teams I couldn't give a shit about. Hopefully will get 15 odd done next year :woo:

That's what puts me off too, though as time goes on I'll likely be drawn to league fixtures. I attend football midweek whenever I get the chance. My local league clubs are Reading, Aldershot, Fulham, Brentford, but I'm unlikely to go to their games when the prices are up to £25/30. Madness. I just attend non-league games instead.

Even Conference prices are expensive. I was lumping them in for convinience. But you're right, they're not.
Fair enough. You mean non-league non-league then. Alfreton have arguably the shittest stadium in the conference (and the second lowest crowds) and charge 17 fucking quid.

Non league hopping is far more interesting and usually about a quarter of the price.
Hoping to get somewhere tomorrow night, possibly Squires Gate v Glossop North End. I've never seen the other North End so I'm quite keen to tick them off.

Did a fair bit of non league hopping at Uni - had some decent days out and visited a few random places whilst at it. Cheap and cheerful definitely.
