2nd home game in a row, this will probably be much tougher than the Coventry match, hopefully we'll start the match as we finished the last.

Doubt well have a new manager in place in time so expect the fab 4 to pick the same team with maybe Mcglashan coming in for Pritchard

Going for a hard fought 2-1 home win

Now Rochdale is postponed, I'm trying to scrape the extra pennies for this.

We've picked up form these last couple of games following the rather public events of late - Doncaster picking up that point was a joke, but what's done is done, and an impressive 2-0 win at Fleetwood.

Rachubka, Kusunga, Wilson, Elekobi, Brown, Kelly, Jones, Winchester, Dayton, Philliskirk, Poleon

Gills 1-2 Latics

Philliskirk & Poleon

I think we should start with McGlashan, made such a difference when he came on

First thing we have to do is play the first 80mins like we did the last 10mins against Coventry. If we play like that then we should win 2 or 3 nil.
Its not exactly rocket science is it.

You'd have course have to depend on us being as bad as Coventry, which I'm certain we aren't.

When we attack, we cause anyone problems. When we defend, we cause ourselves problems.

Attack, attack, attack.

2-0 Gills.

You reckon we will keep a clean sheet? Really?

2-2 or 3-2.

The new, attacking, carefree Gills.

Gillingham 0-2 Oldham.

Gillingham to have a man sent off. Philliskirk and Jones.

I believe we've won the last 3 games we've had a player sent off in, so that might not be a bad tactic for us.

Do season ticket holders still get a discounted tickets for mates? I'm back in Medway this weekend and might attend, but I'm not paying 23 quid to watch us play Oldham (no offence Latics fans), tapping up a mate for a tenner ticket would be a goer though..

Yeah as season ticket holders we get some friends for a fiver, kids for a quid a couple of 50% off a pair of tickets and a voucher for 2freebies for one game

I think you can get in the town (open) end for £16 if you can't get an offer. I think Rainham End's £21

Thanks Davey, but I've managed to wangle a free ticket voucher off a S/T holding mate, it's only costing me a pint.

Well done Mr Sludge, you've reminded me I need to do the same as I've got a few S/T holding mates. Never had a S/T as I had to work some Saturdays. Don't want to come across as ignorant, but I wasn't aware there was a Gills Corby branch, how many of you are there? I was aware of the west country branch as a lot of ex Chatham Dockyard lads went down there after the closure.

My title is a touch tongue in cheek, but I know there's at least three Gills fans in Corby, that's just from using FansOnline. There's at least one more in Kettering and another just up the road in Stamford.

Like it, fair play to you, sounds impressive though. Well done for sticking with Gills and not going to Leicester for example.

What has happened to Oldham?!

'Defensive mistake by Wilson' reported on GSS, sounds familiar.

Oldham are bloody awful, but we've gifted them 2 goals. Ref is worse than awful, little hitler. We will manage to lose this.

Not sure if we deserved to win, but Oldham definitely deserved to lose. Cynical, cheating side.

Cruising at 2-0 then a penalty to them that was very debatable from which they scored after our keeper saved it, worse to follow when their player bundled over our keeper to put it in the net. How on earth a foul wasn't given I'll never know. Was so relieved to get the winner after that injustice, plus the Oldham players going down clutching their faces god knows how many times whilst hanging on for a draw, then ten seconds later up and running about. Shame for Oldham was, we were saying how neat they looked in the first half playing really good football before those ridiculous tactics.

Peak Stuart Nelson there, saving a penalty and making one absolutely absurd mistake to concede a goal.

Ref and yellow flag lino were appalling, we were cruising, admittedly not having done a great deal to be 2-0 up but a nothing challenge gets given as a penalty and a blatant foul on Nels ignored for Oldham's second. Their no.2 was guilty of horrendous gamesmanship, although they did look good going forward.

Marquis; was hugely sceptical when we signed him; he looks the bollocks, Kedwell physicality but an actual goal threat.
