Not sure what to expect from Sheff U, brilliant in the cups (until PNE the other night), not so consistent in the league. We've gone four without defeat at the moment, which is amazing considering our pre Christmas form. Hope for a win, settle for a draw.

Hopefully the manager situation won't affect us to much, ( I reckon Edinburgh will be at the club by Saturday whether he will be in charge or not is another matter)

1-1

If we can play in the manner that we have of late we can definitely get something out of this.

Are there no Sheff Utd posters on OFF ?

Yeah but when you're ripping up the League Cup, where's the appeal in a mission of a journey to play little old Gillingham?

Im giving it a miss 1st one in a while im afraid i cant justify another £200 day out for a game what doesnt appeal to me at all. All 800 of our fans sat down no atmosphere boring as fuck no chance fuck that and with bristol city, notts county and rochdale in the next couple of weeks theres my reasons

am around but generally only comment on games I can watch/get to....which isn't many atm.

Depends which team turns up for us, we could easily loose 3-0 or win 2-0

Thats insane. It doesnt take that long on the trains anymore from here to Sheffield so why would your day be so long?!

Glad we have the same kind of thought process, 20;.55 train with a Macdonalds 4 cans and about 4 bottles of water to try and pull myself together to go into town when I get back!

Why don't you go by car, with a nominated driver who doesn't get pissed. That's what we four do, as will be at Posh next Tuesday night. £10 on petrol and £50 on lemonade.

Rather stick pins in my eyes and stick my cock in a nettle bush than go in a car to gillingham or go to an away game or any game for that matter without boozing

I would need to be drunk to watch my team lose to Gillingham too.

Things improving for Gills!

We really are pathetic at times thats any hope of the top 2 over clough needs to make sure he gets us in the playoffs and start playing some attacking football or im afraid people will start to turn on him very quickly. I believe that was gillinghams 1st clean sheet too if thats true then i need say no more

An absolutely fantastic result against a massive side who can afford splash out £2m on a single player.

Clean sheet, another goal for Cody, new manager (finally) and my boyhood hero Steve Lovell retained on the coaching staff. Looking forward to the Football League Show tonight.

Is the pressure growing on Clough? There's no cup runs to hide behind now.

Did your new manager take charge today? Very good manager in my opinion.

No, it was the final game for the "Gang of Four" (Andy Hessenthaler, Steve Lovell, Mark Patterson and Darren Hare), and what a way to sign off.

Edinburgh starts tomorrow with Hess as assistant, Lovell as first team cocach and Hare going back to coaching the kids. No mention of Patto, but I assume he's staying too.

Fantastic result as our home record against the blades is pretty much rubbish, a couple of times I did wonder if their players legs were made of jelly as they struggled to stay upright
