Just over 24 hours to kick off and no thread yet.
We got royally shafted oop in Yorkshire earlier in the season (4-1) so we could do with putting the record straight.
I would have been a lot happier of this had been played before the managerial changes, but oh well.
We are in good form and confident so, despite the 'new manager syndrome', I will go for a narrow win 2-1. With Cody to score.

New/interim manager syndrome doesn't apply to us. Simon Davey (0-3 vs Wednesday), Mark Robins (0-1 vs Watford), David Flitcroft (1-2 vs P'boro), Danny Wilson (0-0 vs Leeds), Burton/Hecky (1-5 vs Crawley), all their first games in charge

Despite that and the fact Gills are the form team in the division, I'm hoping Tuesday night's win will have provided a boost for the players and given them the belief that we can win away from home. I'd be more than happy with a point but it would be nice to finally string a few wins together, given we've not managed three league wins in a row since February 2013.

I'm confident we can beat anyone at Priestfield on current form, having beaten big guns of the division MK and Sheff U recently, but we seem to always come unstuck when we're expected to win. So I'll be happy with a scrappy 1-0 win.
How many are Barnsley expecting to bring with them? I'm a little surprised at the appointment of Lee Johnson, how's the reaction from the locals?

Barnsley will bring more than enough not to be bunged in the corner of the Gordon Road Stand, 500+ I reckon. If we start well I think we'll win, turn in a first half performance like Yeovil and we'll get beaten. COYG!

Hopefully we can put in a decent performance

Think it will be a tough game but we'll come out 3-1 winners

We've sold 314 so I'd expect around 400 Reds there tomorrow. Only the 4th away game I'll have missed this season, hope the long trip is worth it for those that go.

377 there in the end, going home delighted I would imagine.

Superb win against an in form side, great to finally grind out a few wins on the bounce after the misery of the Crawley game. Davies with a game-saving stop at the end by all accounts as well, delighted for him as he received a lot of stick at the start of the season. 3 wins and 3 clean sheets on the spin, happy with that :)

That was awful, not one of the midfield played well, and as a result Marquis and McDonald were cut adrift.

Barnsleys keeper was a dickhead.

Not much more to say, should've finished 0-0.
