OK, so insomnia is getting the best of me so I've gone ahead and added a Grounds guide section, located here; http://onefootballforum.co.uk/index.php?forums/in-depth-ground-guides.67/. I believe this was a section on TFF and is widely used on some of our neighbouring sites, too.

Naturally, your contributions will be more than welcomed. I'm going to draw up a template now and make it a sticky in the section.

Please note, this section is meant to be genuinely informative so please only reply/contribute with meanignful information. We'll prune posts which are off-topic/don't really add anything of value because our vision is to turn this into a high quality resource for all our visitors.

Great addition.

Would it be sound for away fans to also write reviews/reports on the games they've seen there, as well as/instead of the ground as a whole?

Things like comments/rating on the score, quality/talking points of the match, atmosphere, locals, food/drink, value, ground quality etc?

I think they would work in tandem with "guide" posts that recommend how to get there, where to eat/drink, away allocation, prices, where to park and so on. It should also help keep this forum more active and be a good documentation of all-round match experience.

Absolutely fine! Would be great if each ground/team could have one thread and new reports are submitted as replies, makes it a better and more accessible resource IMO. Perhaps using the template provided and then 'Other comments/thoughts' section below.

Providing it has a decent structure (as opposed to just looking like a standard forum thread with posts of varying relevance), it will get approval from me! :)

These ground guides are hitting page one of Google within a few days of being published... thanks for the submissions so far. We're going to do some link building to promote these further so anyone else thinking of contributing... please do so.

Would it be better to put them in to sub forums (leagues for example), to make them easier to find and should cut down the number of duplicates.

It obviously means work needs to be done to move them around come the summer but I think it would be better.

Having watched that section grow in the last couple of weeks, you are absolutely right. So many pages of ground reviews and it's an arse to find the one that you want.

Spilt them into the different league sections.

Firefox. I'll check IE. HWMBO won't allow Google Chrome on the computer.

Edit - same with IE.

Thanks.

Minor issue there, which I'm sure can be sorted. When I click on the link, it takes me to a new tab, and I'm not logged in although I am on this page.

Could be my browser, I s'pose.

Yeah known issue, affecting me from time to time. Will look into it when I get chance.
