The original Ronaldo

If he swerved all the horrific injuries he had to contend with, his goalscoring record would be frightening and he'd have umpteen Ballon d'Ors

If a Bury player, Dean Kiely. If a more famous player, Hernan Crespo.

The Wednesday
David Eric Hirst

Outside of us, I watched MVB destroy England and Maradona score that goal, albeit on TV as a kid so either of them.

Henry live as non Wednesday.

I used to have a soft spot for Milan too from watching Football Italia, so Paolo Maldini and Rino Gatusso as well.

Andy Preece, Phil Clarkson, Steve Banks and Martin Bullock were all my favourites during that time. Brett Ormerod in his first stint was incredible too.

Growing up I would have to say Thierry Henry. In the modern day, I have huge man love for Lionel Messi. The greatest player to ever grace a football pitch.

For Millwall, it's Neil Harris. No one comes close. In his prime the best player I've seen in a Millwall shirt, and we've had some pretty decent players in my time, too. I'm too young to have seen Sheringham, though.

Football-wise probably Ronaldo before the injuries and weight gain.

Steve 'BigFletch' Fletcher - like any Bournemouth fan who grew up through the nineties. We spent 20 years trying to find players who could accurately put the ball on his head!

Eddie Howe, Ian Cox, Neil Young, Matt Holland, etc all deserve a mention, Wade Elliott a little later on.

Growing up watching the Vale, Ray Walker...pure class.

Beyond the Vale, I'd have to say Lineker. As I got in to me teens though it was Alan Shearer. Loved getting a pear of Umbro Speciali's in the 90's with the soft fold over tongues. Best boots ever made!!
