Looking for some PC game recommendations. Fancy buying some next month when I finally have some money. If the games are on consoles then I'll have likely played them.

Recommend away! ;)

Would recommend Amnesia if you haven't played it already. Like all good horror games though it's best to play with headphones on in a dark room. It's not really as much a horror game nowadays but I used to enjoy playing the Doom series.

Cheers, Mark. I'll have a look at Amnesia. Played Doom games already but may have another look at Doom 3.

Daylight was quite creepy, follows the same mould as Outlast but you play some woman and get stalked by some bastard ghost.

Alien: Isolation is supposed to be really good, Cas. Dead Space series, F.E.A.R series, Limbo, Condemed (old as fuck mind you)... all really good games.

Doom games were so, so good. There's a new one in development atm, small teaser below..

Got Alien Isolation and the Dead Space series. Woa, just remembered I have Dead Space on Origin (Yuk!). Might give that a go tbh. I mean I've completed it the entire series on PS3 but haven't played the first series in a while.

I remember trying Condemned on 360 years ago, might give it another go. Only ever played the first F.E.A.R so the other two might be worth a go? Cheers, mate.

I hope so too, I try and keep an eye out for the new one but the company that make the games haven't released much info about it in recent years. Also a small nerd fact about me, I used to play the original Doom series online many years ago and was rated as the best in the country at one point. There are still some communities around for it as far as I know.

Aye, they're definitely worth a go. F.E.A.R 2 is my favourite in the series, 3rd one not as good as the first 2 but still worth playing.

Nope, but I do own it (along with the rest of the series). Played Shadow of Chernobyl a bit but gave up 'cause it's really dated now. They seem like good games, I've just never got round to playing them. Supposed to be some great mods out for the Stalker series too.

The F.E.A.R games were amazing when I played them. Really cool story and some decent scares. Might look a bit dated now but very recommended. Amnesia is good too

Anyone played Stalker: Call of Pripyat?
Yes, all the STALKER games are awesome! Can't recommend them highly enough. Some of my all time favorite FPS games. Although it's hard to beat the original SoC (and the various excellent mods for it) but Clear Sky and CoP are also very good.

After I've played through them seriously, for replay value it's also really fun to play through them using the cheat trainers, give yourself lots of money to buy weapons and suchlike. Then you just walk around the place blowing shit up, especially in the early game when everyone else has little shotguns and pistols and you're rocking up with some advanced assault rifle and grenade launcher.

Enjoy :)

I fired up the original FEAR not long ago actually. and to be fair, it still looks stunning. I remember at the time my PC had to run it on really low specs. With a more modern PC, turning the video specs right up and it looks great even by today's standards.
