Oh yeah, the best thing about the Superbowl... the half time trailers!

If I wake up to an Independence Day 2 trailer tomorrow, I'm going to get rather excited.

Jurassic World and Age of Ultron are both expected to have spots as well. AoU will likely just have a short spot as the second trailer came out recently, but I'd expect that we should get a nice big juicy new look at JW. Exciting!

Oh James, i'm going to be absolutely battering you for this movie when i watch it a month before you do:bg:

Was a good trailer, although I thought it was a bit too dark compared to the first

Eeeeeh. Great homage to the first film and all that, but it still looks unnecessary. The first one was so damned good (shut the fuck up) and told such a great, self contained story. This just looks like a CGI fest made to cash in big bucks at the box office, which is always what I feared it would be.

Still, the ID fanboy in me can't help but hope I'm wrong and they can deliver something worthy of following the first film. And like I said, even though it didn't make the movie itself look all that great, that trailer still hit me right in the nostalgia.

I'm shocked about that too. I mean, who'd have expected that with a Roland Emmerich film?

You said all this about Jurassic World, and then loved it!

What is the longest break for a sequel ? because this is 20 years since first one been released.

Loved first one and never really a fan of sequels but I will look forward to it and hope it does the first one justice !

28 years between Tron and Tron Legacy is one that springs to mind in terms of a full sequel to an original film. I'm sure someone can think of an example of a bigger gap though.

haha I know wikipedia can't always be trusted but some of gaps between sequels are amazing ! Because most now are planned already to bring in the money more than to create a quality follow up.

I enjoy Independence Day. It's my go-to brains-off adventure flick along with Starship Troopers and Avengers.

This looks shite though.
