We've suffered back to back defeats at Portman Road but still hold a decent record down there and our new found optimism and change of style may mean we give them a game this time round, i'll be there, we've sold around 1,700 with just the family section not selling out.

going to say 1-1 draw.

For 92 minutes on Saturday we looked great, I imagine a repeat performance will be more than enough.

3-1

Confident we're capable of winning but for some reason we keep trying to grind out games rather than kill of the other team. That is my only worry.

I've seen that Wednesday played very similar to us last week, in that they didn't see much of the ball but made it hard for Bristol City and were dangerous going forward.

With that different options we've got, I'm going to say a 3-1 win also

Ipswich have banned Tango man from the game apparantly. People on Facebook moaning about it. As for the game 1-1.

Yeh think this has 1-1 all over it

Also I don't think ever seen those two Ipswich fans ever predict a loss for their team, must be confident!

"Real Madrid away - Hmm, think MM can get 3 points for us here. Daryl Murphy has the ability to cause their defence many problems, and with Luke Chambers and Berra at the back I don't think Ronaldo or Bale will get many chances to trouble us. 2-0 Ipswich"

I think you need to A) look back through my matchday posts and B) look at our record at home last season, then come back and try again.

Whether we do or not is a different matter, but it's a game we should be winning IMO. I also understand that Sheff Wed have strengthened and they will see this as a game they can get something from. It' the Championship, afterall!

We have a fairly decent overall record at Portman Road, Pld 22 W9 D3 L10 so it is a game that tends to go either way with very few draws.

A win for us would be a sign of intent IMHO but it is a definite test of our credentials.

I only predict when I think we'll win. I never predicted a few years back because a defeat was always likely.

As already said, our home form is brilliant and this squad is a lot better than this time last year.

If I was to predict a loss, it would be Middlesbrough at home (despite our form at home against them) if they sign Nugent. He always bloody scores against us at home

Bru and Bishop confirmed as sidelined, but Parr is fit.

Think it's going to be a narrow home win, 2-1. Confident that we'll score, not confident we'll keep a clean sheet.

Great stuff! Glad the pressure paid for the second and good to see the game out, deserved 3 points.

Sheff Weds will do alright this season, one to watch. WTF was with your time wasting at 0-1 an 1-1 though? Pathetic.

Very comfortable win, could have been more in truth.

We had Sears, Murphy, Pitman and McGoldrick all on the field at the end :bdick:

Why oh why do we sit back and try to watch the game out though! A few heart attacks in the ground this evening I reckon!

COYB! Got a bit nervous towards the end of the game after Brentford but am very pleased we came from behind to win. It sounds like the Wednesday fans provided a great atmosphere for the match. Onwards and upwards!

Very happy with today, good result and we mostly played well. The style of play has evolved a bit since last season, Fraser and Maitland-Niles look very good and carried a threat out wide that we lacked before. Murphy wasn't at his best but we still created plenty of chances which is another positive sign, Sears on the other hand was superb and took his goal well.

Wednesday look like they've got the potential to be a very good team, they had a few very fluid attacks but it wasn't quite there consistently.

Your man of the match was Linington, that tackle on Joao was borderline assault, we were wasteful at times and Ipswich just about deserved the points.

The Fraser booking? That's called taking one for the team, I'm sure you'd have wanted one of your players to do the same. Assault? More like a trip.

How about the time when we went to take a quick long throw and your player shoved Knudsen causing him to lose balance and make a foul through. You got a throw in. If ours was assault so was that.

Sour grapes there

It was a disgusting tackle, however you dress it up.

Best of luck for the rest of the season though.
