Two witty titles for two.

I'm actually going to miss this game due to holiday :( What an absolute slobberknocker and I'm going to miss it, gutted really isn't the word.

Gonna have to wait and see how we do tonight before thinking about this one.

Not that confident ahead of this one. Our midfield are so shaky at the moment and our strikers are just being used in the right way.

If we go with the same XI as we have done for the last 2 games, we'll lose, I'm confident of that. However, if Davis makes changes and rejigs the strikers around, we might just have a sniff of getting a result in this one.

Then reality sets in, you realise it'll be the same again and we'll lose 3-0. Oh well, roll on Saturday.

Personally I don't think the midfield is that bad, it's the complete lack of understanding up top which is selling them short. I was very impressed with Bingham, Fox will have his critics because he's not what we used to have but I like him, King is just very very shaky and needs time to prove himself, well taken goal tonight though.

We're effectively playing 4-1-4-1 though with all but Haber playing far too deep leaving him isolated and looking useless. We're playing two wingers that aren't natural wingers in more of a wide midfield position which defeats the purpose of attacking with wingers and Haber has had two poor games. Goalscoring will be a huge issue once again under Davis this season and hope we go with two up top against Scunny with Colclough in for King. However it'll be the same team, the same formation and so the best we can hope for is for our finishing to be a lot better, Haber to get more involved and for us to actually turn up in the opening half an hour.

Looks like Cooper and Colclough will be on the bench again, judging by 'its' comments. Davis won't last long. The board won't put up with the lack of academy players.

Well moving James Collins to assistant manager role wasn't Davis' decision. May as well stuck the Grim Reaper on the bench.

Ness isn't fit, so won't be playing.

Well my prediction went wrong, but Scunny usually concede towards the end so it's not quite over yet for Crewe fans.

Nah, you're playing Crewe. In August. Under Steve Davis. Groundhog day to us. Same tedious shit on the pitch, same tedious spin off it. You're more likely to get another two than us getting even one.We just wait for Davis to tell us we have to stop making individual mistakes, that he's pleased we carried on working to the end, we definitely aren't cannon fodder yet again and Chris Atkinson has actually looked like a footballer against Kidsgrove at some point etc etc. We're shit and we're happy with it.

Oliver Turton captain. Fucking lol.

Wrong system, wrong players playing in the wrong positions. Some players picked on merit, others parachuted in and persevered with regardless of form. Manager who wants to play defensive and has no clue of how to develop a passing attacking team. Seriously, if the board want a wake up call, then look no further than the amount of travelling fans we've taken there today. 122. Just like last Saturday, I don't blame anyone for giving us a swerve at the moment.

Get ready to Steve Davis cliche bingo everyone. I need "There were positives", "Budget differences", "We created a number of decent chances" and "Individual errors" for a full house.

Christ, even I didn't have this gem on my bingo card:

Rich Sharpe ‏@richsharpe89 2m2 minutes ago
SD: “There's nothing wrong with our football, but we need to defend better and be more clinical in our finishing." #CreweAlex

Has one sentence ever summed up a teams problem so perfectly? I'm genuinely astounded by that statement. Literally beyond belief.

And yet you get the same absolute imbeciles on social media genuinely saying "Name a manager who could do better than Davis?"

Time for a trip to Winwick nuthouse for those particular supporters.

Do one Davis.

Never heard Turton speak a word on the pitch in my life, god knows how he's managed to get the armband. Laughed when Davis said players like him come like gold.

Absolutely horrible and painful to endure with this fraud of a manager in charge, promote Collins now and restore our chances of seeing a side we can be proud of.

Laughable, always knew we would strughle this season, infact pretty much accepted it. But i cant tolerate SD any longer. The same team for 3 games running in which weve played awful. His tactics are beyond dull, negative and boring. Keeps with the same formation that ckearly does not work, continues to play some of our better players our of position (LDV out wide???)

As jj says the fact only 122 fans bothered to travel to our 1st away game of the season to a mid distance away game speaks volumes. I certainly wont be rushing to watch us under SD again. No value for money what so ever.

The team itself lacks any pace at all. Very slow and very predictable. We still need a left back, despite SD having nearly 3 months to sort one out.

The sooner we can kick SD to the curb the better. Collins, Artell, even blinking Dario in!!!!!

Like I said after last week, you'll be down way before the end of the season. Genuinely think you'd have a struggle to stay up in League Two with the team you've got this season.

122 away fans...looks like everyone at the club has just about given up?

If we keep with Davis till the end of the season I agree. However all it needs is a new manager to change us to a more attacking impetus and we'll be more competitive. Many of these players are capable at this level, unfortunately the manager has no idea what attacking football constitutes.

Sack him early we have every chance of staying up.
