Mainly for those at the top or bottom

I ask this as i was saying today how utterly shit we are in response to someone saying "we will get it together and finish midtable. We always do".

The thing is, i really cannot see it. We really are utter dross. Barring a miracle - that being a major change in the owners of the club - i cannot see how any manager regardless of reputation or experience could improve our survival hopes this year. We have won 1 in 22 games- that being fleetwood who absolutely spanked us yet missed loads of chances.

Overall i probably reckon we should be lower than we actually are. I feel for dunn and kelly before him as they really are on a hiding to nothing.

So how about you lot

Based on what I've seen from other teams - yes.

We're the top scorers in the league, have strength in depth all over, and we've won several of our games convincingly rather than the usual single goal victories.

No.

We have a guy who scored 21 times last season and another who has proved to be an absolute class act in Keshi Anderson, a very good keeper and a midfield with a myriad of premier league and championship experience.
Our only weak link is perhaps right/left back. Taylor-Sinclair and Lund/Horsfield in them positions are lower league standard it has to be said although the latter 2 should improve.

Yes would currently expect us to finish about where we are. A few youngsters and it's showing as one week we are superb the next fairly meh. We've arguably had six or seven top performances, better football than we've played in many years but within that away from home mainly we struggle for goals and fall to the odd goal defeat. So inconsistent.

Yeah, keep up the level of performances at the moment and we'll finish top six. Could push top two.

Not quite. We've some very talented players and have outplayed most teams this season (barring Rochdale and Chesterfield) but we're too tippy tappy meaning chances are often at a premium. Should be doing a lot better position wise. We've the youngest team in probably the whole football league but they're capable of much better.

Why is that lol? We're playing well, not conceding many goals and winning games. There aren't any stand-out teams in the league this year and we're only continuing to strengthen. Also, not many teams in this league with a better manager than us.

I expected us to do well as we don't concede many.
If we could score we would do even better.
I'm a strong believer where you end up after 46 games u deserve

No.

The number of injuries in one of the league's smallest squads has to begin to bite sooner or later.

No, we should be top six, and if performances over the past six weeks have been any indication that is where I think we will finish.

27 points from 13 games and having comfortably despatched Wigan and Sheffield Utd makes our position realistic. For now.

Well, if Oldham are as crap as you say, along with how crap I know we are, it should be a fucking cracker on Tuesday.

Honestly, we are unbelievably bad.

More or less, yes.

It'll be touch and go whether we avoid relegation this season. Hopefully we just about have enough to avoid the bottom four but I don't expect it to be achieved by any significant margin.

You seem to disagree, you think top 2 is too unambitious and that we can win the league title?

Don't you know that Coventry City haven't finished in the top six in 40 years? Surely that means it's impossible.

We actually looked much better yesterday but still some way from saying with confidence we are favourites for any game in this league

Can't disagree with that as things stand, although those 4 home defeats on the bounce at the start of the season still impacts on the league table at present, so it depends how our home form for the remainder of the season goes now we have won the last 2......
Only thing I would say is that there is little between any of the teams form 10th downwards who all could finish in the bottom 4

We have only lost 6 in 34 since January, so it is a fairly realistic position (at the moment). I thought we would do well, maybe win on the handicap, and finish somewhere between 6th - 10th.

looking at games where I think we have dominated but lost or drew. I think we should be top.

Thrown about 10 pts away already.
