With Walsall and Bristol City both with 2 goal advantages going into their home legs, the final seems set, but.. anything can happen in football.

Seems strange Sky selecting the City vs Gillingham game to be on Sky, as with the greatest respect to Gillingham and their fans, I see more chance of a PNE fight back, rather than a Gillingham fight back. - (Now waiting for the inevitable comments from TomPNE94 on how shit Preston are, and SF's rants about Grayson..)

;)

Strangely, I'm more confident about this than any other game at the moment!

Was it not picked beforehand anyway?

Walsall have sold the home ends out, they should dispatch us comfortably I would expect.
Got picked the day after the Preston game if my memory serves me correctly.

Walsall will be well up for it, as after all, they haven't been to Wembley.

We haven't been to the new one.

I just think if we get a goal before HT, Walsall will shit themselves and it will be good for us to play as the underdogs, should relieve some pressure.

Plus we are better away from home.

Fuck me, how it really is no over-exaggeration how shite your lot are in the Playoffs.

I'd love us vs Preston final, would be the best atmosphere.. And am I right in saying Preston haven't been to the new Wembley?

Then again, wallsall ain't either so I wouldn't begrudge them getting to Wembley either. Why the actual fuck did sky pick our game?

We'd only bring 20-25K I think. Disappointing really but our fans seem to have a weird vendetta against this comp. don't get it.
Shocking really, considering the size of your club and the history it has, I'd be expecting 30k+, be it the Piss Pot trophy or not.

Ours would take the same I think, lots of our fans show apathy to the jpt
Would be more than 20-25k.

30k would be the absolute minimum I'd expect, but we'll wait and see - should we get there.

Our part timers would come out for the JPT - we'd probably bring 15-20k. With all the day trippers.

FWIW - we aren't going to wembley, but it's been a great ride. 10 goals conceded and 3 straight home defeats on the spin now. If PNE score early, it'l be a case of whether we can stay within a couple of goals to put some pressure back on them late in the game! Enjoy wembley Nobbers.

I don't like the feel of complacency that seems to have set in amongst our support. Hope it doesn't reach the players.

If we do get to the final, I predict we'll only take 25,000.

What is it with you people? I suspect we'd sell-out if we got there. Everyone loves a day at Wembley and we'd have plenty of daytrippers.

I know we've been there recently (2008) and have done quite a few Cardiff's in recent years (JPT, L1 play-offs) but still feel we'd flog them all.

I'm with Tommy. We would sell out. I've had people who never go to games asking me to make sure they get coach spaces already and we aren't even there yet!
