Yeah, well, um....little behind but a few of us didn't have matchday threads for our games on the final day so any musings you have make sure you post in here.

Main thing to take from our game is the awful, awful defending for Exeter's 2nd goal. If it was Sunday League you'd haul the guy off, just complete miscommunication and a massive error. Only other point of note was our manager bringing a sub on with 70 minutes gone...and then subbing him 3 minutes before the end which seemed to make little sense.

Thought Exeter looked decent in the 2nd half, although we pretty much bossed the first. Case of whoever gets the first goal goes on to capitalise on the advantage and take all 3 points.

Still, result aside a nice place to end the season, albeit the weather wasn't very kind to us out on the terrace. Jamie scored as well and everyone was happy, what a lovely final moment of the campaign.

I thought Dagenham looked decent. Played some good football. Our first goal was a lovely strike but as mentioned, the second was the sort of thing you wouldn't even see at under 11's football. Everyone clapped when Cureton scored. Ribeiro had another great game and duly won our player of the season. Unfortunately, Morrison couldn't get the goal everyone wanted him to get. A real fan favourite despite being a striker and not scoring in 20 odd matches for us.

10th place probably represents where we are this season, and I'd take it after the chaotic Summer and first 7 matches. Next season we'll have money to strengthen for the first time in years and I'm confident about a promotion push.
