Not going to happen though is it.
Well Bury are on poor form. Naturally like every fan of every other club in the county we're going to say that we're the division's specialists at ending other team's bad runs but we might just win. I thought Wimbledon would demolish us and they didn't.

We NEVER win back to back away games.

It appears nobody wants to stay up. None of the bottom 9 able to win.

As we weren't playing, I like this news. Now watch us lose 3-0 to Cambridge on Tuesday.

I think overall it wasn't too bad for us today.

While we lost it seems like it was a gutsy performance which will help confidence and all the other bottom sides flogged it in easier games.

not great to lose, but when stuck in a relegation dogfight any other positives can be useful

next week is huge for us, home game vs Mansfield with York/Tranmere/Hartlepool having tough games and Dags/chelts playing each other.

I think we should be ok. As bad as we were yesterday, we didn't lose. There is something to be said for grinding out points when you don't play well and we are generally in decent form since November. That is, of course, providing we don't play like we did yesterday too often!

Dagenham would you mind staying up please, a league with ourselves, yourselves, Barnet and maybe Colchester and Crawley would save us all alot of money.

Very handy weekend for us, although as Lee said we'll probably get trounced by Cambridge tomorrow seeing as we can't score for toffee at the moment.

Why are Wimbledon mentioned in here?

They should be in the play-off surge thread if anything.

Ask the person who started the thread as they felt fit to include us. We are obviously not going down though I doubt we will trouble the playoffs unless we get back our injured CB's and the new striker from reading is as good week in and out as he looked sat.
Sorry to Hartlepool and the daggers but I think that will be that.

I've always had a soft spot for the Daggers, I quite like Hartlepool as well, despite it being miles away. If I could pick two to drop it would be York and Mansfield.

I never realy mind who goes down every season as long as it's not us.I just think the bottom 2 are there for a reason which was so close to be us last season and believe me even though we stayed up bu just 3 goals i wouldn't wish what we went through on anyone. The worst point was Jeff Stelling mistakenly saying Bristol Rovers had equalized against Mansfield the utter bellend!

I still find it hard to believe Rovers went down last year, as I've said before I don't think I ever really thought they'd drop because a club like them always has something extra that seems to pull them out of danger akin to what Tranmere will likely do this season. To be in the relegation zone once in the entire season, and for that weekend to be it must've been an absolute choker.

After the penultimate game when they won 2-1 at Adams Park our message boards were taken over by their fans crowing that when we go down we would fold which was true actually. Their vitriol knew no bounds so i'm glad they got relegated and not just because we stayed up, i live in Wells Somerset and most of my mates support them so you can imagine the fun i had after their relegation :woo: And no i didn't get whacked but one of them couldn't bring himself to talk to me for about a month after.

Big game for us at the weekend against Mansfield, desperately need to win so we'll leapfrog them and hopefully a few other teams too. We should have enough to beat them, but they probably feel the same about us.

What is a slight worry is that several teams around us have a game in hand.

If we play like we have done in our last 2 games we should win, but nothing has been going our way. Chances off the line, think we've hit the woodwork 5 times in the last 2 games, and Wycombe's keeper made 3/4 top class saves to keep it at 0-0 Saturday. I can see this being another draw which I don't think will please either of us!

That would be a lovely set of relegation and promotions for next season (no offence meant!) Never been to Orient or Colchester before either

Potentially next season here:

Leyton Orient
Colchester
Crawley
Southend
AFC Wimbledon
Stevenage
Barnet
Dagenham & Redbridge
Luton
Northampton (Slightly further away, but not too far from E10)

Our away support would be bulked up very nicely for all those games, we'd take well over 1k to all of those. Bring on Morecambe and Accrington too for new grounds.

Come on Dagenham, we need you to stay up here........

That'd be a fantastic league. This division is fairly Southern as it is, but if all of those sides were here next season it'd be unreal.

........

Not to us, you wouldn't, our away allocation is about 900 max.

I just worked out my route to your gaff. Despite only being 15 miles from my little bit of Sarf London, it would take me 1.5 hours to get there by public transport. Cheers TFL! Oh well, at least the fares are cheap.

If we stay up that would be some travelling , there is four southern teams in the bottom four in league 1 , if Bury and Burton go up and Hartlepool and another nortern based team go down I dread to think of the travelling.

That could be fun. Extra police will be needed to prevent the horse punchers from going on a rampage.

Honestly don't know what will happen on Saturday. The game at your place was weird, a complete game of 2 halves where you totally dominated the first half and we were abysmal, then second half it was as if the teams had swapped kits - we totally dominated and you were abysmal.

The last 2 home games have been extremely poor from us. Some would say we're due a good home performance, I would say the way we're playing we'll be lucky to win another home game this season.

Jesus, I hope we go down
It does look horrific. Just a few years ago this league had Chester, Rochdale, Bury, Wrexham and the like. I don't hope we go down, but the potential league offered here would be horrendous.
