to help first timers on their visit to Luton.....these are NOT true....
1-it is a nice place
2-people want to live there
3-only the ducks have webbed toes
4-you can stroke the camels
5-footwear must be left outside of the stadium
6-help

Well that's a rich post coming from mr daviejones
who supports a place so backwards i'm sure horse and carts still ride on cobbled stones.
Carlisle as we know still belongs to the jocks
full of grown men who play with their cocks.
it is indeed a town so far far away
that the locals speak a foreign language and you can't tell what they say.
for him to take the piss out of oakey's Luton he leaves me in no doubt
that supporting carlisle united gives him nothing to shout about.
so hey mr d.j. wont you listen to what i say
Luton will finish above Carlisle come the end of season judgement day!!

Stand up then unless you have ridiculously fat knees you'll be fine

I think that if you stand up at Kennelworthless Road you just make yourself a target for the natives to scream incoherently at you. I'd rather sit and risk losing my legs at the knee down than get a faceful of that treatment.

It's such a rotten shithole that place.

Some tinpot team at home please. Being as we can't play ourselves although we'd still somehow lose if we did I'll take Dagenham or Accrington.

Wouldn't want either of those, Id want someone to look forward to, those 2 are as inspiring as a trip to the doctors lol.

I think we've just about fell into the tinpot club with accrington dagenham and morecambe.

Bristol rovers away would be ironic.

Apparently we are likely to be at home first day as the ashes are in nottingham and therefore both notts clubs are therefore away. Not sure how many legs this has though

I'm just glad we don't have to wait another few weeks for the conference muppet to reverse the same fixtures from last year.
Can Exeter and Newport away be on a Sat please, I've not been to their grounds before and I'm planning to go by train. Conversely Pompey, Wycombe and Bristol midweek would be good as I'm driving to them.

I predicted we'd get Huddersfield in the cup at home, so I was close there.
I am predicting Morcambe away for the 1st league game.
Will go for York away last game.

Would be nice to get one of the longer trips out of the way early but we'll have the west country teams on Tuesday nights, as usual. So it has to be Hartlepool away to start ... so we can admire the mighty Bingham in the flesh.

I'd like a home game to start off, but we've started with a home fixture the last 3 seasons I think, so I've got a feeling we'll get an away game. Preferably against one of the lesser teams in the division, but anyone at home would satisfy me.

If I'm correct (I'm probably not), I think the last time we had a positive goal difference was 18th August 2012 (opening game of the season), which lasted all but 15 minutes.
That is just ridiculous!

As I'm up in York that weekend, it would be nice if we get York away on Saturday 5th September. Of course we'll probably get them at home then!

A home game first up or a trip to the seaside. Enjoyed Morecambe the other year, which turned out to be about as good as it got that season.

When we of course get this Multi billionaire and can of course buy Luton as a B Team for our south American youth programme you will not be able to say Luton will finish above Carlisle come judgement day:£

to be fair I think its a good set for us, we were always going to get horrible 6 hour plus away treks so you couldn't avoid them.

back to orient home being a Tuesday.......eee it is like the old days.

and no first day home defeat for a change.

So Carlisle get the plum tie to kick start their campaign.

Pompey away for us, quite pleased with that. Will try and make my first trip there.

Newport at home to start for us, then Dagenham away Boxing Day and Mansfield away to end. Lots of big home games early in the season too.

It's ridiculous but I'd rather get the long trips on Tuesdays. I rarely go to Tuesday aways so the closer ones being on Saturdays works for me.

Looks like the Carlisle visit to Newport and the gas visit to Newport will be moved to Friday nights due to the rugby internationals.
