Leeds United are set to announce the clubs new head coach over the weekend according to Sky Sports Website Editor Chris Harvey and Yorkshire Evening Post's Cheif Football writer Phil Hay.

Sky Sports Sources have told Chris that Sturm Graz head coach Darko Milanic will be taking over from Dave Hockaday. Phil Hay has also revealed Milanic will be the new head coach of Leeds United.

Milanic is presently the coach of Austrian side Sturm Graz, who finished fifth in the top flight last season. He has been in charge there since the summer of 2013. His main managerial success came with Maribor, leading the Slovenian side to three titles. He is a former Slovenian international from his playing days, featuring a Euro 2000.

Former Argentine boss Alejandro Sabella had been linked earlier in the week, with owner Massimo Cellino declaring he wanted a top foreign coach in charge of the club.

Caretaker boss Neil Redfearn has been in charge for the last three games, overseeing two wins and a charge, and will continue in his role regardless for the derby against Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
