Usually for Cup games we make 9 changes or more from our league side. This time from what Howe is saying, it looks like we're going slightly stronger. Partly because our options are reduced by injury, but also because after two 5-1 hammerings we need to do all we can to stop that rot and put in a better shift.

Really not sure what to expect here. Klopp has already said multiple changes will be made, so in terms of Liverpool quality and coherence, anything could happen. We're at home and playing a team who're strong candidates for relegation. But this is a cup game, and that means very little.

I'm going for a tight 2-1 win for Liverpool.

Let's hope the officials give us a fair crack this time, and understand their own laws of the game.

Hopefully Liverpool see the job through before 90 minutes are up. Need them as fresh as possible for when Klopp ends Mourinho's career at the weekend.

As Mark mentioned, Bournemouth have conceded a massive TEN goals in their last two games - including shipping five of those at their own ground.

Surely even Liverpool can't fail to net a good amount of goals here.

Our forward line is decimated with injuries, with 3 of our first 4 choice strikers out. If a team can fail to score against them it will be us.

I'm sure we'll make a few changes in the defensive half. They will have very realistic chance of staking a claim for the usual starting 11, if they can at least cobble together something resembling a competent defence.

For some inexplicable and unfathomable reason I have come over all optimistic this afternoon. It's the hope that gets you.

Probably 1-1...seems to be the usual Anfield score line.

We will struggle up front again without a proper striker. Just to be on safe side, like everyone that has lost said, it's only a league cup :D

Dunno where any goals will come from unless Lallana decides to have one of his three games a season and score. Hoping Firmino starts at least to give him a run out and see how he gets on. It'll be tight.

As a complete neutral with no interest in the result whatsoever i just hope for a real cup tie.

If i had to pick a result i think the most likely is a Liverpool win with a penalty in the last minute or some similar luck.

But if i was to put my hard earned on it..........ermmmmm.......3 - 1 Bournemouth win.

Lovren who managed to con the ref into chalking off a goal last out at Anfield. Kermorgant will give him a pysical battle if nothing else, if he can stick the odd elbow or two in there I wouldnt lose any sleep.

Interesting selection of attacking midfielders working off him, not quite sure how that'll work.

Lovren is playing so Bournemouth will win;)
Haha probably! :D

I don't mind Klopp trying out the youth here, put it this way, they can't do much worse than the first teamers currently!

Is Firmino rubbish or what? What does he bring to the side?

What a shame that didn't go in from Texiera.
