All about these two. And Sturridge might return.

Good luck!

Will Sturridge likely play? Tempted to stick him in the fantasy football team instead of Costa now.

Reece Oxford on the bench for West at 16. Has a lot of potential but no where near ready for this. Still finding his feet in the U21 league IMO.

Good performance once again today, Coutinho and Sterling were fantastic, as was Lucas in midfield, and it was topped off by Sturridge coming back and getting a goal! 3 points and on to Everton.

Never in doubt, and one look at the possession and attempt stat shows only one team was ever going to take the points. Of course, it didn't help that West Ham couldn't win a league game at Anfield if we started every one of them with 9 men.

Despite the different between Everton and West Ham in the league, next weekend's game is far more difficult, especially with them picking up a bit of form recently

Our predictable and yearly loss at Anfield now done for 2014/15.

Didn't follow the game, but we're really regressing to Allardyce's preferred style of last season with Carroll and Nolan in the team and we're nothing like the team earlier in the season. Of course with no Sakho we're limited, but when he's back it'll be Valencia who makes way, unfortunately. The direct - but along the floor - and fast paced, zip and hassling play of Sakho and Valencia seems a distant memory.

Is this the real Pags?

Man how we've missed Sturridge, his record at Anfield is impeccable. What a player.

Its miracle we are so close to top 4 with useless bunch of strikers thus far. if sturridge stays injury free from now on. we are going to have good season after all

Was at the game, we were hopeless, didn't look. In the least like scoring, it was so predictable that Sturridge was going to come on and score.
