I predict that Manchester United will win.* **

*Unfortunately, I will be unable to watch this match tonight due to agreeing to a film extravaganza night™ with the missus.

**Martino Knockavelli, in the event of a Hull win I beg you not to murk anyone too hard. I don't want to come back on here and see that you've rested someone in peace again.

Extravaganza night? So you're watching porn instead of watching your team? Good Boy :D

btw: In the 1FF LC Prediction I voted for a 4-0. Shouldn't be impossible.

Walkover by United, and maybe the last game for Snodgrass at Hull?

Only one comment from a Man Utd fan, and an equivocating one at that. Nilsson still too busy trying to unpick the locks of the shackles that bond him in slavery to the diktats of the kleptocratic fat-cat class that presides so ignominiously over the soi-disant "European Union", I guess.

Man Utd 1-3 Hull City

Pogba (10 mins)

We'll win this for Sir Michael Phelan and good, honest English coaches like Paul Merson and Phil Thompson all over the country. How he was sacked to make way for some European nobody was nothing short of disgusting.

The film extravaganza night™ has officially been called off because one of the children has been playing up.

I feigned devastation and now I can officially watch the match.

Officially gutted.

Thought Hull played well and had a good first half, the man from Portugal looks as miserable as ever though.

Decent half from Hull. United don't look that bothered really. Hull are playing 2 ball-playing midfielders in central midfield in Clucas (why isn't that guy on the wing again?) and Snodgrass (who had to drop deep as Henriksen had to be subbed) and this 442 doesn't look too hard to unlock on paper but United aren't putting much pressure on the midfield and the back four (with 2 players playing out of position in Meyler and Huddlestone) hasn't had too much pressure. Also, United can't shoot from distance.

Would take a 0-0 here. Reckon it could end that way. Lest we forget, Diomandé hit the post (even if he was called offside).

Fellaini mopped UP the header well.

T'was more missionary than hair pulled back, though. Fair dos.

Two goal cushion going into the 2nd leg without breaking a single sweat, nicely done I say.

Slight tug on the shirt, the Hull player throws himself into the air and a penalty is given. Wrong call.

Keeps things interesting for the neutral.

Hull have been the better side so far and probably do deserve to be ahead based on the chances they've created - but the penalty decision was poor.

We're still ahead overall, though, and one goal away from killing the tie off.

Normal bollocks from Jon Moss then. Joke of a penalty decison.

We arent prepared to bust a gut and came for a 0-0 and would have got it in if was not for Moss.

If thats a pen there would be 5 a half in Conference North for fucks sake.

Well the other argument is the referees should give them all and they might stop doing it then. Definitely game on now should be a decent second half.

That one on Smalling just now would have been pretty soft but it was certainly more of a penalty than the one that was actually given.

The one a few minutes earlier on Pogba was a dive.
