Murray say's it's our biggest game of the season so far. We only have 1 winger so unless we play Bingham there I don't know how we'll line up. Another 2-1

I see York have signed 2 players on loan. No doubt both will score, How many fans are you likely to bring?

About 450 sold yesterday, apparently, so I'd think something like 500. Not great, but the fact that it's all ticket will have a knocked few off, and a few more can't face watching this dross anymore.

Our away form is actually decent and I think this is one we really need to go out and try and get the win, but Wilcox doesn't really do that. Most probably a draw.

Will be my first game since this one last season:

Looking forward to it (and the pub time before 'n' after). Been too long. Hopeful of a win with our home form, but obviously haven't seen us or York play all season so I'm not basing that on much other than optimism. Just hope it doesn't turn out like that game above. Blame me if it does.

Pools have sold out Yorks away allocation 2000 I believe, put into perspective , that almost equals the combined home support for Accrington and Morecambe

Lol.

That was so, so bad it was almost funny.

I can't put into words just how poor we were. The black lad upfront for york tore us a new one as he did for Torquay last season.

As for us, nobody had a good games the defence was a shambles - ryan tazafolli needs dropping for some time - you then had sutton and thomas on the bench. Dreadful

I seriously can't think of one worse performance in my entire time supporting stags. Couldn't string a pass together, defence all over the place.

Well, that's made things interesting hasn't it. Over an hour with 10 men, 12 mins stoppage time overall today aswell!

That was the worst Mansfield 'performance' I've seen for years.

Shaq Coulthirst absolutely run the show, he's a class act who got applauded off by Mansfield fans as well as the away support.

On that showing York will be absolutely fine but it didn't take much the beat the Stags today, they didn't even get out of second gear and still beat us 4-1!!

Like others have said that was the most shambolic performance I've ever seen from a Mansfield team. I'm ashamed to say I support them after that. Pathetic. Think we'll be in real trouble. Think I'll put money on us going down.

Conceding 4 to York is the league 2 equivalent of the Sunderland 0-4 Aston Villa result.

The fact that Shaq Coulthirst was allowed to 'run the show' shows how poorly Mansfield must have played, he's completely average.

I clapped him off too, thought it was a good performance amplified by some shambolic defending.

It's hard to see how we are going to get anything from the next 3 games even before yesterday.

Still, we need to write it off, hopefully learn from it and go from there.

Aye, that was awful. The two headed goals we conceded from the corners looked almost identical, and were both so soft. Agree on the York forward - far better than anything we had on show.

Richard Cranium , I went in The Market last night. That pic in your avatar is from there, right? Recognised it when I walked in.

It is indeed mate!

We're you sampling the Market's sambuca after that shower. Accrington and York, you sure know how to pick them!

No sambuca mate. Had a friend I met travelling come up from Wales for the game and (mainly) some beers so wanted to show him some proper Mansfield dives. Market, Dial, Wheatsheaf...

Was in the Beer Shack and The Caves having some real ale before we went down in class. You been to either of those? Was impressed, especially that Caves place.

He was VERY good, how you could make such a tired and ludicrous at statement without being at the game surprises me. He's above league 2 standard by some way

He needs to be VERY GOOD against Cheltenham too, I want some proper breathing space for a few games!

He was good but i think the fact that the defence had no clue how to even defend. Seriously haven't seen a single performance where we were as bad as that ever.

I'm not a massive fan of ales but I do like the cave. The Wheatsheaf is brilliant!

Big win for us against a team with a decent home record, if only we were as good at home as we can be away. We need however to follow this up with a performance at home which has just not happened this season. Still think we have enough quality to stay up.

Welcome to the forum mate.

So many good battles for both promotion and relegation across the football league this season. I think you'll have enough- I've seen you a couple times this season after moving up to Scarborough due to a work contract.
