Hartlepool United host Portsmouth who have made a long trip to Victoria Park. The Hartlepool side are currently in relegation places and are a place above Carlisle United. Meanwhile, Portsmouth are looking for their second away win of the season. Hartlepool are trying to avoid a hat trick of losses after their away games at Northampton and Plymouth.

For Portsmouth, Nick Awford, Nigel Atangana and Ricky Holmes are hoping to make their comebacks after featuring in the reserve side. Michael Drennan, on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa is on contention to kickstart his second stint.
The injury list consists of defender Ben Chorley (calf) and striker Ryan Taylor (groin) are out for today's game and Tom Craddock (knee), Danny East (groin) and Wes Fogden (knee) remain sidelined.

Striker Charlie Wyke (Head) and defender Michael Duckworth (Hamstring) are both in contention for the hosts and Stuart Parnaby (knee) will miss out.
