I think is City fans could do with this anyway, to stop other members moaning about us hijacking threads.

West Country, la la la...

Etc etc.

Renamed, on the condition that no-one moans no matter how much Bristol City discussion there is...

Us and Forest will stick to our own thread thanks. Even if M Dogg is the only Forest fan left these days!

Couldn't this have been the 'Southern Thread', for all teams below the Midlands

Then there would probably be enough fans of other teams to moan about the amount of City chat

I blame the Derby fans for making an East Midlands thread. Surely just a Midlands thread would have been enough. Like Rammy says it's basically Derby and 1 Forest fan, it doesn't seem very logical.

It was introduced in 2008, because there was a large number of both sets of fans, and we were derailing every thread on the forum.

The same way Bristol City fans do now.

So do we include the metrosexuals of Reading in this thread?

What about MK Dons, the pride of BBC Three Counties Radio?

And is Cardiff in a Wales thread? Or here? Is Wales 'West' or 'Foreign'?

A single unitary authority for urban Dorset
Milton Keynes and most certainly Reading cannot be classed as midlands surely?!

Having working in MK plenty, everything there hangs off the back of London and the M1 south, and it's full of ex Londoners. And those Reading types are about as soft southern as they (we) come.

So yeah..
Doncaster and Sheffield are South
Wolves are North West
Bristol and London clubs are in the Midlands
West Brom and Birmingham are South West
Rotherham might be in Yorkshire, still unconfirmed..

Read the motorway signs around Bristol and you're all northern buggers (apart from the sheep, Brighton and cockneys)!

Surly every team north of Gloucester should have a 'Flat cap and whippet' thread because lets face it, north of Bristol and south of Edinburgh is just a breeding ground for the great unwashed with the exception of the lake district which is marvelous. And the less said about the Welsh the better

The week Carl Ikeme gets dropped for the first time in 3 years, he unexpectedly gets a call up to the Nigeria squad to play against Tanzania in the AFCON qualifiers. Good luck to him.

You are doing that thing on champ man where you have a lot of money but no one good wants to play for you, so are now just blindly smashing offers about.

I take great offence to that.

The pride of Hertfordshire are also the pride of Three Counties Radio, how dare you suggest otherwise. MK Dons do not get that prestigious honour.
