Lee Clark is about to be thrown into the lions den tomorrow. Strangely the Geordie may be more comfortable in those hostile surroundings than he is in the second city at the moment. At the final whistle on Saturday after a inexplicable defeat to basement club Fulham a chorus of boos rained down on the beleaguered manager. Rumours continue to abound that a change in the dugout could be imminent as the board of Birmingham International Holdings prepare to meet tomorrow to amongst other things sign off the company accounts and sort out the future of acting chairman Peter Pannu.

City's last outing was a microcosm for their season so far. Birmingham produced a confident first half performance creating several chances and deservedly led at the break through David Cotterill's wonder strike. Clark's outfit continued in the same vein in the second half before defensive errors allowed Tim Hoogland and Hugo Rodallega turn the contest on its head. Millwall come into this match on the back of a 2-1 reverse at Huddersfield. The Lions have now lost 3 of their last 4 and after an impressive opening to the campaign have begun to slide down the table.

Both sides have a few injury worries currently. Millwall will be without right back Carlos Edwards and midfielder Lee Martin both knee injuries. Birmingham meanwhile will be missing Jonathan Spector with a thigh problem though Koby Arthur could be back in the frame after recovering from a hamstring injury.

Millwall used a 4-3-3 formation at Huddersfield. A set up that manager Ian Holloway often favours.

Millwall probable line-up: 4-3-3 Forde - Malone Beevers Dunne Abdou - Bailey Williams Upson - Fuller Woolford McDonald

Birmingham went with a 4-2-3-1 against Fulham but I can see the under fire Blues boss switching to two up front for this one.

Birmingham probable line-up: 4-4-2 Randolph - Caddis Edgar Robinson Grounds - Cotterill Davis Reilly Gray - Thomas Donaldson

I'm going with the Lions to take the three points here. Clark seems to make a wrong decision at every turn at the moment and I can only hope that another defeat hastens his exit. 2-0 Millwall
