I won't be in attendance at our game which is a shame as I have a soft spot for Guiseley despite what they did. Saw them earlier in the season v Aldershot and they were quite frankly trash, possibly the worst performance I've seen at this level and I saw Welling a number of times...

Despite that I expect they won't be as bad as they were, nor will we be as good as Aldershot, I expect a tough game in the sense that Guiseley will stick 10 behind the ball for 90 minutes and this will be problematic I think as I haven't seen anything to suggest we can break down a defensive team. I also doubt Matt Harrold is the answer, but then I'm not entirely sure what the question was in the first place.

I expect a 1-0 loss with big Rob Atkinson netting a 93rd minute winner from a corner. (or a 5-0 win, it's going one of two ways).

GuiseleySteve if you're heading down by train, there are no trains to Leyton due to engineering works at Leytonstone.

Yes I saw the Lofc tweet but thanks. Undecided on travelling after the two poor displays last weekend!

Must win game for us. Reduced ticket prices so hopefully a big crowd. We've got two new centre halves replacing the two calamities that have played their so far this season which will hopefully see a big improvement, and we can stop playing hoofball.

Hopefully those two new centre backs don't know how to play with each other yet and we can exploit it. Wondering if ter Horst is fit enough to start now, him and Hines will be a handful for any defence at this level.

Expecting a tight affair at The Racecourse tomorrow. We seem quite good at the back, but don't look likely to score to many - hence the number of 1-0's we have already been involved in. That said will be happy to get our 3rd 1-0 win on the bounce, to keep momentum going.

Maidenhead have traditionally done OK at GGL, however with Tarpey gone this is probably one of the better times to be playing them

One of them has played the last two games and looked good. The other simply can't be any worse than the lad he is replacing, who would have gifted you at least 1 goal.

Providing we don't play with the same midfield as we did at Guiseley, we should be much improved

Not tempting fate but we could be back up to ONE AND A HALF strikers tomorrow.

Who knows, if Nyal Bell's gum shield has arrived in the post after the bank holiday then maybe even more. TBC.

We've made a few emergency signings to try and field some sort of squad tomorrow, still I'll probably bet a load of money on Chester to win.

What did Guiseley do?

Despicable things. All of us who know often think back to THAT DAY and also what they did on the last day of last season too. Wow. Seems there's no end to their shameless acts. Who knows what they'll be up to next.

Not sure what to expect from Guiseley now they don't have a manager.

We've done ok at home so far, but we still have the odd brain fart at the back. Would expect us to lineup with Mooney and McAnuff back in our starting XI after Monday.

Matt Harrold will be on the bench for us, maybe with no sub keeper on the bench...........

Dover will come and play 5-5-0 and kick everything that moves no doubt , stevie wonder will be refereeing, and we havent been the same since wallace was injured against aldershot , we miss his intelligence in midfield. 1-0 either way watched by less then ten men in hooped t shirts and with a string of onions around their necks in the away end .

If you score the first goal, you'll probably win. If I was your manager, I'd try and really get at us first 15 minutes, if you manage that, it should be a comfortable afternoon. I'm not convinced our sparkling 1-0 win at Guiseley does anything other than gloss over our problems. Confidence is brittle at the minute, but the longer the game goes on goalless and Harrison changes to 442 after going through 5 formations beforehand then we might nick it.

We already know what's going to happen, we'll start the game alright for 10 minutes tip tapping it about without so much as threatening the oppo box, Maidstone will realise we're actually guano and it's all a front, they'll score, we'll roll over and get a belly tickle, the crowd will turn on the players, their collective arses will fall out and we'll concede a second and we'll all go home pissed off again with another weekend ruined.

If we play one up front today I'm gonna bring a fucking book to read instead of watching.

Pitch is looking better like!

Cheer up Pools fans, you're miles better than last year, remember? I distinctly remember being accused of being a know-nothing WUM when I suggested otherwise, so it must be true.

Looking forward to Guiseley's furious reaction to their embarrassing result on Monday.

Teething problems dear, let's get at least a quarter of the season out the way before we declare you the Nostradamus of Suffolk.

Normally I would say that Solihull at home is a game we should win, but with nearly half our squad out its going to be tough.

Most people are now going today expecting that we are going to win this one handily, so that automatically means it'll be a big let down.

Come on Sutton. Imagine them and Boreham Wood getting promoted. Would be epic. I'm sure you want to know that I will be making a trip to Gander Green Lane for the home game against Wrexham. One of the bad boys. There will be 20 pissed up Scunthorpe fans cheering Sutton on

Just seen our team news. It's fucking horrific. Was struggling to get to the game today but seeing that has made me not want to rush around to get there. Congratulations on your win, Maidstone

Imagine if Scunthrope do a Tranmere and get relegated back-to-back seasons into the Conference.

Never going to happen mate. More likely going up and not going down. Teams like Scunthorpe, Oldham and Walsall are just too canny to drop down to this level. We leave it to the likes of Wrexham, Tranny and Orient to sully our good name
