I always thought Hartlepool fans were a jolly bunch who got dressed up as smurfs at the end of the season.

The fact that they apparently double up as the north-eastern branch of Combat 18 comes as quite a shock.

Grand Wizards is the theme this year.

Also what a dive for Woking's penalty yesterday, surprised the chief idiot hasn't been banging on about that. Or maybe he just doesn't go to games.

No one has told him where he can park at the Shay.

Good point today. Sounded like a bit of a topsy turvy game with a draw perhaps about right overall.

Our recent record against Woking is a rather comical DWDLDDDDDDD.

If we maintain that incredible draw ratio on Tuesday, we will continue to sit 4 points off the top 7, where we seem to have been stuck for the past six months.

We have drawn far too many games this season and with our history against Woking, it seems like a safe prediction once again.
Had a couple of drinks with a Barnet fan after the game, said he was very happy with a point after that second half. Also reckoned that was a handball at your end in the first half, couldn't see it myself, was definitely a trip on McAlinden in the second half though. Can't go blaming results on the officials though, don't want County to have to rely on getting penalties, if we can't even make enough opportunities then we don't deserve a playoff spot

It doesn't mean he's good - just that Chesterfield are totally set up to play his football. He would have been amazing in our team under Cox!

He would be great in our current team as well.

Was Diarra at Barrow under Cox? I think I remember one game at Kingfield when pretty much every Barrow player was 6’3 +

What?
Ok,black then for gods sake.
I was going to say that, but thought it would be picked up on,so said coloured instead thats all.
Get a bloody life.

Without trying to sound like I'm telling you off, and I have no doubt you and 99.5% of Hartlepool fans are not racist and there's no offence intended, it's not about getting a bloody life. It's about saying things that don't offend people.

There was a few seasons when you were absolutely hateful when you played us and it was all the more annoying as you always did well in those games too. Now its a coin flip between you and Yeovil for the best footballing side to visit us this season.

So, we’ll go third if beat Aldershot at Meadow Lane tomorrow night, which would be the highest we’ve been all season. Rested Wootton and Roberts for an hour at Barrow, and Boldewijn, Rose and Dennis completely, so expect most of them to come back in.

Nah mate that ain't it, I was there alright, we just don't roll out the excuses when we lose. I even told y'all last week we were TERRIBLE. That was after a win. Pen or no pen, Woking deserved the win. There you go, didn't hurt a bit. Try it. :ds:

Nice to see that we're all clubbing together to make sure 'project 2022 stop us if you can' at Fylde ends in relegation

Can we all join forces to make sure Plastic club HTFC don't win the league. 1300 on Saturday, whats the fucking point ?

I didn't know that term
was deemed offensive ,wrong choice of wording then & I apologise if I have offended anyone.
It wasn't my intention.

I see what you’re saying but I really can’t see Halifax winning the league from here tbh.

HTFC don't exist anymore, they were the REAL club remember? At least try to maintain consistency in your game. :fl:

You should beat us fairly comfortably, having said that I thought you were disappointing at The EBB earlier in the season (when we just pressed you solidly for 90 minutes).

Was one of the games away at teams towards the bottom that’s cost us a shot at top spot. We’ve dropped points in really similar games at Aldershot, Chesterfield, Dagenham, Ebbsfleet, Maidenhead and Eastleigh where we’ve just not got going at all and struggled against a team which pressed us on a relatively small pitch.

It’s not really been an issue at home, though. Our pitch is big and teams seem much more afraid to try pressing for long periods of time.

Tuesday's games:

Dag & Red v Fylde
Notts County v Aldershot
Woking v Barnet

Notts County have the chance to move upto 3rd for the first time this season if they manage to overcome Aldershot at Meadow Lane. The Magpies, fresh from a very good win at Barrow on Saturday have no new injury concerns.
Notts will be looking to avenge The Shots for their 2-1 win towards the end of November. Having said that November was the Magpies worst month in the league as they failed to pick a single win.
At home Notts have lost just once in 10, the defeat to Barrow but have drawn 5 in that sequence. The Shots have won 2 of their most recent 10 away games, one of which was just last Saturday 2-1 at Maidenhead. They have failed to score in 6 of the 10.
Prediction Notts win 3-0

Woking are beginning to turn around a terrible run of games and could be getting their play off bid back on track, back-to-back wins against Halifax and Maidenhead sees them move to touching distance to 7th spot and a win at home to Barnet could see them move to 6th. There is a mathematical chance of 5th but it would require a big scoreline. It is the opposite for Barnet who had put on a great run, which actually coincided with Wokings bad run. However 2 draws on the bounce have somewhat stalled their climb up the league. Away from home the Bees have suffered just 1 defeat in 7 but lost the 3 preceding that good run.
Prediction 1-1

Time is quickly running out for 2nd bottom Fylde and they travel to a side who have lost just once in 8, The Daggers. Fresh from their 2-1 win over Aldershot at the weekend the home side will be looking to continue their solid, if not spectacular home form. Fylde boss Jim Bentley was reasonably happy with the sides 0-0 draw at home to Solihull on Saturday which halted a run of 5 consecutive defeats. From what I gather Fylde have a new keeper from Rochdale on loan (Lillis) however neither Fylde nor Solihull have been bothered to write a report so no idea!
The Daggers will be looking to push on knowing that they aren't safe themselves yet and will be wanting to hit the 50 point make as soon as possible.
Prediction 2-1 Daggers

If we're serious about going up then we need to win games like this.
Fylde absolutely have to win, single points here and there no longer enough and Barnet need to turn games in hand into points.
Feel like defining games for all three clubs tomorrow and probably Woking too.

Our pitch is the biggest in the division, so you can’t use that excuse on us I’m afraid.

Yeah on pitches big and small, we’ve just been rubbish this season when the onus has been on us to attack anyone. Will be another tight one tomorrow and an early goal would be nice.

It would amuse me greatly if Barrow copied our example from the last few seasons, slipped off the top and ended up failing in the play offs (just because of Chipmunx hubris) . But whilst I can just about accept Barrow going up I really couldn't stomach Harrogate in the league.
