Any game is tough for us right now. I think in a month or two, we'll be a better prospect but right now, we're not very balanced and lack an attacking threat.

Good opportunity for Maidstone to grab an away win.

We have been terrible at home for years, but as Ebbsfleet lost to some tinpot newbies at the weekend, I’m a bit more confident.

Can see our game either being about 5-0 Salford or us sneaking a 1-0 win. Hopefully it’s the latter but I’m not too confident

Halifax vs Barrow is obviously game of the day, given it is 3rd vs 1st.

It would've been one of the away games that we should be confident of getting something from, even before our win on Saturday. But I think a draw is the most likely outcome here.

Looking forward to it and Halifax should provide more of a test of our defence than toothless Havant & Waterlooville.

Dover travelling up to our temporarily three sided stadium. Expect a bit of a dog fight which seems usual against Dover.
Think we’ll nick this unspectacularly.

Thought we were comfortable enough at Dover, but this will be a further step up.. and an early test against a side we're probably competing with for a play-off spot if we have hopes of getting there.

Will go with my predictor league guess which is Fondop to score another screamer, Danny Rowe to level it up. 1-1.

Like Saturday, i've no idea what to expect against another side that were in the play off last season s should be a good marker of where we are at.

Awful journey for Aldershot on a Tuesday night, bit of a trek.

I'll plump for a 2-1 win, and a shade over 4,000 there to witness it.

Ebbsfleet at home for us, another tough game after our draw with $alford on $aturday.

I was surprised Ebbsfleet lost to Chesterfield at home, so that gives me a bit more hope for the game, though signings such as Adams and Cheek for fleet speak volumes.

Would take a draw.

Barrow at home for us. Similar situation to Barrow in which we were very comfortable in beating a newly promoted side on Saturday and Barrow will provide a sterner rest and will ask more questions of us defensively. I’ve predicted a 2-0 win for us as I do think we’ll do a lot better than people suggest this season. We’ve got to win these sorts of games if we want to possibly challenge for playoffs which seems to be the ambition amongst the players and manager this year.

Leyton Orient 1-3 Ebbsfleet United

Bonne 74...............Kedwell 39, 46; Adams 81

What a shitty double header to open the season with. Would definitely settle for a point, I rate Ebbsfleet this season.

So what side has disappeared, not that I can wait until tomorrow to find out

The benches end behind the goal, furthest stand from the away section. new stand is supposed to be opening in the new year. Whether that sticks to schedule, we shall see.

Ah Tuesday night home games, we've been crap in them for a while. Its approaching the years anniversary to the day since we won one in the league, 3-1 against Solihull. Since then we've drawn 1 and lost 6 I believe. Most of our performances in Tuesday night home games have been shocking.

Our game Saturday confirmed to me that we're still lacking that clinical cutting edge up front, as we still miss too many chances and that our midfield is a bit old and pedestrian. We badly need Dale Gorman back. I'd take another draw in this, if Ebbsfleet don't sit back like they did last season against us they have a goof chance of winning. What with us being crap at home for a long time as well.

Tough game away at Wrexham, don’t know how much they’ve improved. Don’t know how much we’ve improved. Draw. My biggest concern is keeping hold of Rowe. Roll on Friday

I wouldn't worry about that. The Rowe to Cheltenham rumours have stemmed from a notorious fake account that real journalists seem to keep falling for.

Your biggest concern should definitely be big Mike Fondop-Talom.

Just watched Saturdays highlights programme, impressed that Barrows 3 goals were due to some nice passing moves, complete contrast to their style last season!

I'm expecting Harrogate to be tough opponents. They'll definitely raise their game against us.

Will be more than happy with a narrow home win.

Nah it’s true they’ve bid, as did Tranmere and Chesterfield

I’m not no. I went last season so it’s another ground ticked off. Gutted as it should be a good game but I’m far to busy at work

Seen a few predictions about and people think we're gonna roll them, I aint that sure, like you I'd take a scrappy arse 1-0 win.

Shame it's a Tuesday night, they could've brought a decent chunk of fans here.

To be fair, they'll be bang up for it and it's a massive game for them. Big chance to make a name for themselves with a win here and get taken seriously. Not beyond the realms of possibility if you ask me. This is a banana skin for us. Now that we're packed with non league players, we might not have that arrogant slack attitude of 2017/18 season's finest. This game will tell us a lot about the character of this squad and Bates's ability to get them grafting as a team.

I don't know what they get at home (1000 odd maybe?). They might bring up to 200 though which would still be one of the larger away followings we'll get all season.

Hoping Bates changes the formation for tomorrow night, prefer to see 352/532 with James and Muir up front, Kioso looks much more dangerous at wing back than centre half, I'd also bring Hawkes back in for Cassidy.

Not sure on attendance but aside from Halifax we must be one of their closest games this season, think a Saturday game they could've brought 400 plus maybe? Be surprised if they bring more than 200 tomorrow night like.

if you watch the highlights on the 18/19 highlights thread and start at 2 mins 18 seconds you'll see more of the lead up to the 1st goal - way better than anything we did last season when we couldn't put more than 2 passes together....
