I'll update as when. How many clubs will have a different manager come the end of the season?

Next to go, Paul Hurst or Darren Edmondson .

Richard Hill, Paul Carden and Lee Sinnott need to improve quickly or they wont see out the season either.

Why Paul Hurst? He's not been that bad and as far as I'm aware the fans are pretty much behind him at the moment.

Given the money spent and pre-season expectations, I'd say 8th 10 points off the top is underachieving. Given that he's proved to be a nearly man a couple of times now, a few more poor results, which is entirely possible given Grimsby's upcoming games, could see the pressure really mount.

If come the end of October, Grimsby are more then 15 points behind the leaders, will many fans still be backing him?

I'll update it when it's all sorted then. Didn't realise Flowers had rejected.

I doubt Richard Hill is in danger, partially because I wonder about how involved he is with the money side of things. I think he'll at least get to throw some more money at things in January, and a playoff position will be good enough.

I don't really see Hurst as in too much danger, especially if the fans are behind him. I can only see something happening if someone good becomes available and they go on a bad run of games at the same time. For now Grimsby should at the very least be thinking about the lack of someone better to replace him.

Edmondson at Barrow, I have little idea about. I don't expect him to go soon, but I'm not sure what sort of a season he could ride out. Could he survive a relegation? Could he survive being on the precipice all season if they stay up or look like staying up?

Agree Richard Hill is relatively safe considering all the success he has had at Eastleigh, but if we don't get more than 2 points from the home game against Dover on Tuesday night & Wrexham away on Saturday, he could start to come under the microscope, given we have only taken 1 point from the last 12.

The change has been needed but i'm not sure who we can bring in as no names spring to mind, but i'm glad they have said Colin Gordon will be taking over the next 2 games so we aren't rushing into an appointment again

Has the backing of the chairman, who wants him here for the next 10 years. But on the other hand, the chairman's talked about promotion in the next two...
Also, the Barrow "fans" have cornered the market in hysteria, and even one loss in four is enough to have them calling for his head.
I think he'll see out the season, unless we're dragged into a relegation battle then he's certainly gone.

Rumours floating round that Dave Shockaday is one of the managers interested, God help us if this comes true :dis::ffs:

Ian Allinson next. That squad should be nowhere near the bottom of the table.

The last couple of seasons are all just one big horrible dream right? I'll wake up in the morning and Burr will still be in charge, we'll be 3rd in the league and preparing for an FA Cup replay with Peterborough with Lolley and Gash in form.

Usually I'd be wary of playing someone with a new manager, but Hockaday.......

Allison will go and manage a local Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire outfit before returning to Boreham Wood in a couple of years time... like he always does.

Over changes in training sessions it seems.

Clearly looking for somebody to work full time.

Ridiculous for the players too, presuming they all have full time jobs and won't gain any extra money from the change. Can see them dropping down the table like a stone and an exodus in January if things don't change. The fact it's done now rather than in January or the end of the season when the window is open is even more ridiculous.

Is there a link between managing a National League side and having the first name Gary? Current count for the season is five (Johnson, Whild, Brabin, Hill, Mills). What's the odds on Gary Megson taking the Eastleigh job?

Allison looks a classic case of jump before you're pushed.

Looking at the majority of the players in that squad, they haven't got other jobs.

Surprising news. Something not quite right about him leaving. You'd have thought he would have left when they decided to go full-time if training didn't coincide with his work, not a few weeks later. Leaves the door ajar for one of the current bottom four to avoid relegation.
