A new era but young Fergie has his work cut out to make a difference. I think we will be playing at a quicker tempo tomorrow although I doubt he can change much in 2 days so another loss and the bottom of the table beckons.

If Town can score two or more then there will be some sort of chance of us getting a result.

Mellon doesn't appear to have a clue what his best team or formation is so yet more changes to both, probably some rather baffling, are likely. It's no wonder we've yet to achieve any sort of consistency this season.

Well according to MM on Shrewsplayer he intends to continue with his policy of "horses for courses" this season, so as you say every came for the rest of the season will be a mystery regarding the starting line up and formation????????

How's he going to do that tonight, it's the first team Fergie will have picked and after Saturday's performance it could be anybody, he's already stated he can choose any 11 and not get it wrong because we've been so poor. I'm going for 5 midfielders and 5 strikers and only a goalie because he thinks he has to.

@drfc_official: #DRFC BENCH: Marosi, McCullough, Forrester, Williams, N'Guessan, Middleton, Taylor-Sinclair https://t.co/U7JhjQIlR1

Pace at last although very lightweight in the middle.

Different day, same rubbish.

Mellon deserves to get longer to try to sort this mess (entirely of of his own making) out but he's certainly not doing himself many favours at the moment with the ridiculous constant chopping and changing of line up and formation.

The January window will be huge for Town, there is plenty of money in the bank from the transfer dealings this summer to strengthen and turn the season around. We'll see in that window whether the club are really ambitious to have a proper go in this division or whether they'll let the side disappear back down to League 2 with a whimper like last time.
