Hey all,
Only just come across this site so have joined up to see what goes on here. I'm a teacher - hence the name - and am currently relaxing and doing lots of not-very-much while it's the summer holidays.
I'll start scanning the threads to get a feel for the place.

Cheers for the welcome. Got high hopes (well high-ish) for a good season ahead with Neil Lennon having a full season to go at it. Not sure how much he's strengthened the team yet, but he's a good manager and deserves some time.

Surely Emile Heskey will get you 20+ this season :tw:

I think you'll be alright though, like us I think we'll both be mid table this season.

Hi Mr Elmo,
Haha, I'd say Bolton v Derby is a cracking start to the season and I'm already looking forward to it. Derby are 6-1 favourites to win the league and Bolton are still 66-1 in places, so you might think Derby are home and hosed for their first match. But we both know it isn't always that simple is it? Lennon will be keen to show Bolton are ready and prepared for the new season ahead, while Derby will be hoping to show the rest that they will try to be King Of The Castle from Day 1.
Has all the makings of a great start to the season Mr Elmo. Would I be happy with 1 point for the opening match? Would I hell! I'm sure we'll 'speak' again before the big day.
