Failed despite having a big squad and probably a big budget?

Not a real surprise, should have done much better with the resources they have.

Shame.

I was a fan of the work he was doing there.

New FL regulation that you get a choice of two people only to be your manager.

It has been decided by a committee comprising Steve Evans, Stuart Gray and Fellatio Cellino that your choice will be from Big Paul and Big Barry.

Your call.

Strange timing, surprised its taken this long. It should've happened straight away so we could appoint someone ASAp but better late than never. Gutted I'm not here for next season now haha.

Adkins or Rosler would be my choice. Would be more than happy with Cooper but can't see it.

Rosler literally got appointed Leeds manager last week.

This is expensive, with Clough we've gotten rid of Crosby, Andy Garner, Martin Taylor, Simon Clough, Michael Forsyth and Matt Brown.

Personally think Chris Morgan should go too but doubt that would be universally welcomed by Blades.

Would also love Warburton but can't see it.

Sensible decision. Nervous Nige had big players but could never get his tactics right.

Possibly Warburton?

Maybe a bit optimistic. Surprised by the timing, I thought that it would take place after the PO Failure.

Think you'll be trying to take a manage who's currently employed? Or will the board go the cheaper option of finding an unemployed gaffer?

there are decent enough unemployed gaffers out there in Adkins and Warburton. Even McDermott although I'm not convinced on him.

Out of the managers currently employed I'm not sure who I'd want, wouldn't be anyone from the Championship. The decent managers in L2 just got promoted IMO so couldn't see any of them coming and in L1 the only managers that I'd really like would have been Paul Cook or Mark Cooper...so basically I think there's more chance of us taking an unemployed manager but they wouldn't necessarily be appointed because they were the cheap option.

Theres always Klopp ;)

Would Warburton go for it? Certainly a big enough club.....but wouldn't he get opportunities at Championship clubs soon?

I'd imagine he would - but I'm sure he'd be offered a higher wage at Sheffield United than he would have previously been on at Brentford, and that may play a factor in it.

We'll see.

Please appoint Keith Hill
:) Bless

Mind you, shit loads of compensation and selling Calvin Andrew to the Blades for £750k whilst still finishing above them might be worthwhile - particularly if BBM turns out to be as good a manager as his dad!

Warburton not even in betting having weir as assistant wont help. Klopp 66/1 get him in
