Plymouth were the best side I've saw this season too. Thankfully our defence is made of sturdy stuff and we held out 0-0. Reid was a pain all game though

That's a classic promotion campaign performance. Not at your best, but dig in, defend well and take your chances when they come to grind out the win.

I'm sure it will turn around for Notts County soon. The performance was good, just lacked the end product.

Fair play to Plymouth, I assume they're much better than they've shown today as all they've done is lump it to Reid and stick 10 men behind the ball. They defended pretty well and we didn't test the keeper enough. I'll take it as a compliment they brought a defensive midfielder on for a winger after 30 minutes. Hope someone appears with some end product to take Campbell's place in the team, he makes some useful runs and clearly tries really hard but he just can't finish for shit.

Plymouth build on a solid defence, it's what you need in this league, that you've got Wycombe who've a game in hand have conceded 8, and Plymouth Oxford and Mansfield have let in 9.

From what I saw of county it's no surprise someone physical had a good game, their defence just isn't upto it.

County have clearly got a good side, you've just not got the balls and aggression needed in this division just now

Do you ever say anything remotely insightful or accurate?

Biggest difference between the two teams was the centre backs and Reid. I don't know why we play Swerts at CB because he isn't up to it physically. Got absolutely bullied by Reid.

Reid is quality for this level, really strong, good movement. Izale has looked a bit lazy and prone to theatrics recently. Also think that missed pen has a lot to do with our recent slump

Yeah pal, I've seen my side in this league more than any other, and I can spot a poncy tippy tappy light weight side from a mile off.

You are that side, once you, or more importantly your management works that out you might get somewhere, without the help of an imaginary company that doesn't exist

Sorry to touch a nerve down there

I'll go against the grain here & say it was actually quite a comfortable win.

That win had little to do with luck, it wasn't a 'smash and grab' either.

Being tight at the back and clinical up top isn't luck.

Notts County have some decent players no doubt, but seeing more of the ball than the opposition means little. Can we stop pretending that they were amazing and somehow far better than us? They weren't. The co commentator sounded a happy clappy Notts County fan, he couldn't get enough of them, it was quite cringeworthy.

Notts County -
Passed the ball around well, controlled the middle of the park. Failed to create many clear cut chances. Conceded two goals and didn't really look like scoring themselves.

Argyle -
Solid at the back, shut out a side with some good players. When we got forward we created chances and we've clinically taken two of them.

We were better defensively than County, we were better going forward than County, the only area in which we were beaten was central midfield. If being better than the opposition in 2 of the 3 key areas means we were 'outplayed', then I'm happy to be outplayed every week.

So on that basis, I'd actually say we were the better side. Possession at this level means very little.

County will have a good season if they can find a settled 11, the quality is definitely there, is the manager? Hmm.

You are so fucking weird.

My main point was we're actually one of the most reckless sides in the division. I believe we've got the worst disciplinary record in the country too. I wish we were a more 'poncy tippy tappy light weight side'. You've watched 2 of our games though, so fair play I suppose, I bow to your superior knowledge of what type of side we are.

Not sure there's a more backward view in football than needing to be some massive side of cloggers (grrrr real men, not those *foreigners*, all foreigners are well soft) in League 2. I can only assume you never watched Burton last season.
