Despite there being 30 points still to play for (which would see us finish on 93 points and surely enough for 2nd), most Dons fans concede that automatic promotion is gone and the season now will hinge on the dreaded play-offs (provided we do not bottle it completely and finish 7th).
As for Oldham Athletic, WABLOitis has struck again and they look set to finish as a mid-table League One side for the 1,276th time.
I reckon we will get something from the game as "we haven't turned in to a bad side overnight" (Grigg 2015). Having said that, we look a shadow of the side that smashed Oldham and many other teams earlier in the season and so I feel a similar result to the Walsall game is on the cards and a draw.
With the form we are in, this being our 9th trip to Boundary Park in 11 years and our away support being poor at the best of times, I would not be surprised to see us dip below 100 fans for this trip. Last time we had to go to Oldham on a Tuesday night we took 54 and despite our average away support being up this season by over 100, this will surely be our lowest turnout of the season.

Prediction:
Oldham Athletic 1-1 Milton Keynes Dons
- Carl Baker with our goal
- 101 MK Dons fans

I think you should be in charge on creating match day threads for every ones games.

MK will win this.

McFadzean and Flint - two similar defenders of similar importance for their team, yet McFadzean has 12 bookings, Flint has 0.

Dean Holden gets the job until the end of the season after losing three of his four games in charge. I fucking despair. My old man is coming tonight for only the third time this season, the other two games were 4-0 losses to Preston and Yeovil. £5 on 4-0 Mk Dons please.

No, no, no. We are a different beast to December, an ugly more wimpy beast.

1-1 and our pathetic limp to the Play-offs continues.

Oh and Posh win to close it down to 8 points. (From fucking 21 in February)

Fair play to the 66 at the game tonight. Haven't got anywhere near enough holiday to take off from work to warrant going to this one unfortunately.

I couldn't give a shit if it's 6, 64 or 66. The mocking means little to us. It's just noise from a harmless minority.

Nice to get that winning feeling, but given Oldham were an injury away from calling up the groundsman, I'm not getting carried away.
