A bit of a biggie but I couldn't give a toss if we finish 1st or 2nd, it's all about 3pts and creating a gap between ourselves and MK Dons.

I don't think we've played particularly well in the past 4 games but we've stretched the unbeaten run to 13 now. Only two teams have won at Deepdale since February 2014 (Bradford & Man Utd) so we must be doing something right at home. I think both teams would be reasonably content with a draw but a win would be massive.

I hope we don't fuck about with a back three at home, it's ineffective when the impetus is on you and we always end up changing it at half time.

Clarke, Huntington, Wright, Laird
Welsh
Gallagher, Johnson, Robinson
Garner, Beckford

Stuckmann, Woods, King, Kilkenny, Humphrey, Little, Davies

I don't think our back three has hinder any impetus all season...

So we need a win and an MK defeat to seal promotion? God I hope that happens as I really do not want to trek to Bradford next Tuesday night.

Both teams have 7 wins and 3 draws from the last 10, which has seen us both consolidate our positions. I think this one will be a draw and looking forward to a good day out. The team above looks very attacking, hopefully with space for Freeman to exploit.

We need to sell more tickets, less than 3k would be disappointing.

I'd take a point right now. A win would almost guarantee the title.. But if be confident of the title with w point from here.

Unchanged from us - Agard to start again after his superb goal last night, and the solid Tavernier to stay in.

Would take a draw, but have a sneaky feeling we might scrape a win...

Need a Bristol City win, obviously, but I just can't see it.

We'd need Swindon to draw or lose too to make it a mathematical certainty. I have to say its a very unlikely set of results, so looks like youll be heading for Bradford!

Absolutely no idea what the result will be here. Wouldnt be surprised with anything really. I think we'd be more than content with a draw whiost Preston will be under pressure to try and win. Could play into our hands perhaps?

Would take a draw all day long on this one, the most important thing is not give our rivals points, do that and I believe the title is only a matter of time.

Win? Draw? Lose? Who cares, we're going up anyway! :sb:

OK, seriously....as long as we don't lose the title is ours. 2-2

Agard proved doubters wrong last night but I would still start JET at Deepdale. Can see Agard getting completely marked out of the game with Preston's solid defence.

Be like Brentford v Wolves last season this, they're going into it shit hot with thoughts of nicking the title, but we'll reassert our dominance with a comprehensive win.

COME ON BRISTOL!!!! PLEASEEEEEEE win! If we carry on our run on Saturday Preston need to win this game as we will be within a win away from them. look at the 2 sheffield clubs couple years ago, united had the opportunity to go up with a win at our place and lost then Wednesday pipped them to the title on the last day. anything can change at the moment, we could lose Saturday and you win then its back to an 8 point gap.

If so fair play, well done and have a great time in the championship :)

Joe Garner is due a couple of goals, him going 4 or 5 games without scoring is unheard of.

Swindon managed 21 shots on goal last night. I don't think City can afford to be that generous with PNE.

I have every confidence we can win this, but I'll happily take a point. We usually do well at Deepdale...

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not but in the last 7 meetings at Deepdale we've won 4 drawn 2 and lost 1. The one loss was in our relegation season when we were utter dross.

The majority long range attempts admittedly - only 8 managed on target.

We need to press the midfield better Saturday than we did last night, give Johnson, Gallagher etc time on the ball, and we will be punished.

4-0 wasnt it :D I think Dave Clarkson scored a couple that day.

Aye, I remember I was sat in a different place to normal that game and one of our players (Conor McLaughlin maybe) broke his leg right infront of where I normally sat.

I remember that game, both teams were complete toss that day but the difference was David James played an absolute blinder, while we had that bag of shit Andy Lonergan in goal.

Funny how quick things can change in football. Just the other day we would have been slightly worrying about the possibility of Preston overtaking us if we'd have lost against Swindon, but now they'll be cautiously looking over their shoulders at MK and worrying about the possibility of them potentially being only 2/3 points behind with a superior GD.
