The season we were relegated into League 1. Last home games.....24199, 19641, 23185, 21277, 21711....while we were firmly anchored in the relegation zone. So wrong again.

You can call us shit (we are, right now), you can call me a witless c*** (because I am) but trying to make out that Wigan is better supported than Wolves is absurd. We got more being relegated from the Championship than you did when established in the Premier League, ffs. Even the fucking Daily Mail wrote a "What's the point of Wigan?" story about your abysmal support.

As i said earlier in the thread Wigan often took very minimal followings to some Premier League games and often didn't sell out even for the likes of Arsenal coming to town.

The premier league can cloud the views of some of said clubs fans on their overall size, Wigan are a small club, arguably the smallest to make the top flight depending how you'd rank them against AFC Bournemouth historically and the fans of Wigan (as i'm sure most do) will be proud as a fairly small club of what they achieved in those few seasons at the top table rather than have delusions of grandeur.

Wolves are a massive club compared to Wigan, they had 4500 at Vale Park in League One compared to 1350 Wigan so to compare would be silly.

You need to read posts proper before you comment,i said there following at bolton was piss poor considering how "big" they are try supporting a team whos between two of the biggest clubs in england see how your support would suffer you stick wolverhampton between manchester and liverpool and see what would happen.if we hadnt of been so successful in the past 10-20 years people wouldnt call our support as much fact!!!!! It's never about how much you spend on transfer fees in this league, barely any team does. What we're talking here is that you've got a 15 million wage budget compared to say vales at around 2.5 million. It enables you to pay ridiculous wages for league one players. Our top earner is probably on 4k a week whereas yours is probably on 20!
There's why you should be walking this league. Wolves had a similar budget and it was ridiculous how easy it was for them. It's massively unfair in my opinion but there you go.

You must be on drugs if you think we are paying anyone even close to 20k a week we had nobody on that wage in the championship are highest earner in the prem was only on 35-40k..are wage bill will be nowhere near what wolves was in league 1

Show me where I said that's what you said!!!!! It's you that needs to read posts "proper" before you comment Carl, or at least avoid making assumptions. What I actually said, which you even quoted, was that you're a Wigan fan and you've chosen attendances as a topic to argue with a Wolves fan. Go back and have a look...did you argue with HertsWolf? is he a Wolves fan? are you a Wigan fan? Was the topic of your argument, attendances?
