Its always a bad sign when I start getting optimistic about away games. Posh haven't had the best of starts but they're still a very capable team at this level. I'd be pleased with a point.

1-1

The Posh fans will tell us that they are truly terrible, dogshit, pants etc. but they are rarely as bad as they are made out.
A draw or possibly nick a 2-1 win.
Cody may well be back and the likes of Dack, Egan Norris and Dickenson were rested last night, so should be fresh and raring to go.
Loking forward to this one.
We better win after the grief I have had from the Mrs for going to footy all day on our wedding anniversary!

We're pretty shit at the moment.

We just got hammered by Charlton reserves, with one of them getting so bored, he tried from the halfway line... Which worked.

4-1 Gillingham.

My 1st away game of the season if we play like we did vs Wigan there is no reason why we can't win

Bit off-topic, but just asking, why does nobody use the matchday thread here? To make this section look more active now the brilliant City have gone?

:p

Anyway, because Posh are currently shit, i'm going to go for a 2-0 win for Gillingham.

Lump on Gills at 11/5. Crazy odds considering just how shit we are.

Annoyed at throwing that away so late.

Still unbeaten in the league though.

I would have taken a draw before kickoff, but it's always disappointing to draw when you take the lead late on.

Better than normal but still a long way away from where we should be.

Gillingham looked decent, probably wasn't their best performance but still looked better than us.

With the chances we had we could have easily won but a point a piece was deserved.

We'll take a point away from home which keeps the league unbeaten run going.

2 home games coming up against Doncaster and Blackpool which will be a great chance to take 6 points from

Another decent result for us, win at home and draw away and we're laughing.

Justin Edinburgh wasn't happy with Peterborough's goal at all and I've got to say that it does look suspiciously offside, even if the angle isn't the best. The guy who throws himself at the ball but doesn't connect has to be interfering with play.

It's brilliant how the fans proper negative and reckon they could go down but the owner reckons they have a great squad, filled with brilliant young players and will go uo.

The fans usually have a better idea about what is really going on

He says that every year. Follow him long enough and you'll see through it.

Well he's not going to say the squad isn't good enough and we're going down is he? He has to try and lift the fans.

We know what's going on. We're completely skint, we can't go through a transfer window without selling our best player as that is the only way to balance the books. We're getting less than 4,000 home fans through the gate every week because the football is so shite, so we are losing money every single week.

The future is looking incredibly bleak and i'm now worried that we may not have a club to support within 3 years.

We're not 'completely skint' and we won't lose our club within three years. That is OTT.

We're shit on the pitch, but let's not get silly.

Erm, we are completely skint. What makes you think that we're not. I think Fry's latest showing just how in the shit we are. Desperately trying to drum up any interest in one of our only sellable assets prior to deadline day. And there is a pretty hefty chance that if Darragh decides to sell up, we will be massively in debt with no prospective buyers in place and we will plummet down the league and could completely go.

Its not silly, and its not OTT. It's entirely plausible.

We're in League One. If we get a decent offer for one of our players, they will go. That's natural with due to the level we play at, and the fact our crowds are poor and we can't raise enough income through them. All clubs at this level and below are the same. It's football.

Our latest accounts show we're in a good position financially. The only person we owe any money to is Darragh, and that's now £5m after it being £12m a few years a go. The stadium, whilst owned by the council, at least has the ACV on it, so it can't go to another Colin Hill like character that easy.

As a club, we're in an okay position, and just underachieving on the pitch.

How the fuck can Posh be skint after the money from Assambolonga, Gayle etc?
I always thought that posh were one of the healthier sides down here financially.

We're not skint, and our accounts show that. It's just PH being a little OTT due to our poor state on the pitch.
