Ours haven't been released yet, but I assume we'll just play a couple of the local sides, a couple of Scottish teams and maybe a top flight North East side.

Someone on our messageboard reckons we could be playing FC Groningen for Paul Thirlwell's testimonial. Just a rumour, probably untrue.

Have other teams Friendlies been announced? Do you expect any interesting, or top flight teams?

Ours are dull as shite.

Saturday 11th July – Boreham Wood (a) 3pm
Sunday 12th July – Lowestoft Town (a) 2.30pm
Tuesday 14th July – Thurrock (a) 7.45pm
Thursday 16th July – Hitchin Town (a) 7.45pm
Saturday 18th July – Peacehaven & Telscombe (a) 3pm
Monday 20th July – Gosport Borough (a) 7.45pm
Saturday 25th July – Coventry City (H) 3pm
Tuesday 28th July – Brentford (H) 7.45pm
Saturday 1st August – Walsall (H) 3pm
Monday 3rd August – TBC (Beds Premier Cup final)
Wednesday 5th August – Dunstable Town (a) 7.45pm
Saturday 8th August – League 2 season starts

We did apparently have one away to Royal Antwerp lined up before they hit severe financial difficulties. Antwerp came to us last summer and their fans were absolutely spectacular, genuinely put to shame any set of fans from this country I've ever encountered, so that would have been a great weekend trip/piss up. Alas, we'll have to make do with Gosport.

We've sorted 5 away games against Non League opposition. We are apparently playing Doncaster, Leicester and MK Dons at home so the local copper on Stagsnet has said anyway.

We're apparently off to Harrogate Town for an exciting Tuesday night adventure. That's from Harrogate Town's site, nothing has been announced by York yet.

We had some decent ones last season, Owls, Blades, Forest and Hull at home, and an away trip to Raith Rovers and St Johnstone.

Notts County are visiting Vale Park for one of ours... bizarre to say the least!

We'll piss that league... we always win every game 6-0 in preseason.
You mean until we lose against Barrow/Workington, right?
But other than that, yeah we're solid in pre-season, which was partly why I was optimistic ahead of the season.

All our friendlies will be away as work going on most of the summer for our pitch, Bognor and Havant & Waterlooville away. Also believe we are playing Burnham aswell. Most pointless match ever seeing as it was part of the Ryan Bird deal 2 years ago who has since joined Cambridge and been released I believe. Where even is Burnham? Sounds like somewhere near Cambridge.

Reminds me, think we'll be playing that team from Yorkshire again. The one who sold t-shirts to commemorate playing us in a friendly (to be fair the friendly marked some kind of securing of their future) believe we agreed to a schedule of friendlies in return for using their pitches as a training base as they had decent facilities.

Apparently we've got Blyth Spartans away too, a bit of variety for once!

We have Whitley Bay away ( say that drunk! ) and Billingham Town away, for those of you who don't know your Billinghams , Town are a league below Synthonia, both play over the road from each other and it's a pleasant 20 min walk for me!

We've nailed our bog standard away trips to Thurrock, Dulwich Hamlet, Braintree etc and I'd be very surprised if we didn't have our annual home visit from Charlton as well.

11/07 - Away vs Salisbury
31/07 - Home vs WBA

We're away to Truro City on a Tuesday night.

Can see us taking a big following to that one!

Apparently we're charging local non league teams £500 for the privilege of hosting us :ffs:

Is this the norm for league clubs to do? To me it seems a bit cuntish.
