The finest blade there will ever be they literally dont come any bigger missed 1 game in nearly 40 years. One of the finest blokes you could wish to meet any blade on here will agree.

Never knew or met him but sounded like a top bloke reading the tributes from club officials and fans alike. Not quite sure how I never met him or really knew who he was, seem to be in a vast minority of Blades on that front and really missed out. Dont think there's many fans who had such an impact on the club that we'd fly our flag at half mast for. Edit: Team to also wear black armbands this weekend I believe

RIP Shred

Always sad to hear of the passing of any proper, fanatical supporters, especially in these days of fickle, plastic armchair fans.
So RIP mate and I hope the Blades get a result for you this weekend.

Not sure what can be done tommorrow but there will be a tribute on tuesday and the club will cover all funeral expenses including the wake which i would expect will be at bramall lane as there will easily be over 1000 attending.

Buzzing may not be the right word but yes it will be a very emotional night

Kevin mccabe has offered to rename the kop in memory of the great man to which has been declined by his family as he wouldnt of wanted it which i agree knowing him he wouldnt of. Also all funeral expenses have been offered and his seat on the kop will never be sold again. Great touch blades exactly what he deserved.

Rip my friend you will never be forgotten
