Friday night, live on Sky.

We've lost seven of our last eight games against Reading and I can see that awful record continuing. Berra is still missing at the back so our defence will be a shambles, but hopefully Bart will be back in goal. We need to score at least two goals to get a result, which I think is unlikely.

Reading 2-1 Ipswich

I don't think we'll struggle to score twice, we're the leagues joint top scorers and I expect that to remain the case throughout the season. I'm just concerned we may concede 3 or 4.

2-2 entertaining draw in reality, for me.

Complete opposite opinion for Reading fans i'm sure, I don't think we'll concede (many), but I would like us to score a goal - we've only scored in 4 of our last 17 home games IIRC!

Hopefully John, Piazon and Vydra coming into the team will provide the attacking power we need.

Have to be pessimistic and go for a 1-1 draw though.

Sounds like McShane is a doubt. Hopefully he will be fit as he has in my opinion being our best player so far this season. I wouldnt expect too many of the new signing to start tomorrow night.

I agree with TractorBoys and think it will be 2-2

Hi guys,
I would like to ask you about Orlando Sa who plays for Reading. I live in Warsaw where this striker played for Legia. What do you think about him? Is he classy player? In Poland he was a star.

Town have been boosted by the return of Christophe Berra, Daryl Murphy and David McGoldrick ahead of the trip to Reading tomorrow evening (8pm KO).

Positive.

Huge boost, especially Berra. Neither Murphy nor McGoldrick need to start if they're not 100%, but great to have options.

Early days but i'v been impressed with him so far apart from a last minute penalty miss at Birmingham in our first game of the season. Scored his first goal in our last game. Now we have our wingers back in the team fit i would expect him to start scoring more regualy as he hadn't had much service when they weren't fit.

The same problem was when he played for Legia. Orlando was playing with only one great guy Ondrej Duda, but lack of wingers made that Sa didn't score a lot. I hope that he'll manage in Championship because it could be great ad for Polish Ekstraklasa

They finally put a decent game on a Friday night for Sky. Going for a 2-1 Reading win.

Ditto Mark. 2-1 Reading. I reckon this is a game Ipswich will regret. I predict they will underestimate Reading and pay for it.

(Edit - but just seen that Ipswich quarterback Berra is fit again, so that could make a big difference. Not many Reading players will be donating their shirts to charity intact after this game)

Only fear I have in this game is the players we could be missing.

McShane is a doubt, and arguably has been our best player so far this season, and he's our captain. If he does miss out Hector will come in but he played Wednesday for Jamaica. Williams and Hurtado also played on Wednesday and probably won't be fit enough to start.

Will be excited to see some of the new signings if they come on - Vydra and Piazon in particularly.

A week or so ago I would have said win, now i'd predict a draw - we've lost players over the international period, and looks like Ipswich have had some good news over some of their players who had fitness doubts.

We've gone for an attacking lineup, Sears, Pitman and McGoldrick all starting. Think it'll be a pretty flexible between a 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1 with McGoldrick dropping off.

Vydra starting for Reading, Piazon on the bench.

Same as ever this season, threatening going forward but shaky at the back. Douglas needs to sit back more with Skuse because we're getting horribly exposed on the counter.

Even Reading fans must be embarrassed about the atmosphere.

That goal music is awful.

Ipswich looked terrible at the back, absolutely no protection to the defence from midfield.

And a keeper who won't come and collect a ball on his own six yard line. Appalling.

That was horrific for the third. Great finish but horrible from Ipswich. Good game anyway.

I'm astounded Gerken plays for your lot still - unless he's came on leaps and bounds, he shouldn't be in your side. I can understand Pitman and Skuse, Pitman is a natural goalscorer, and Skuse's work often went un-noticed by many of our naive fans, but Gerken was definitely not up to it for us, and was back up at best.

Bialkowski started the season as number one, but he missed a couple of games and Gerken came in. Hopefully Gerken will be back on the bench on Tuesday, I don't rate him at all.
