Don't have a good feeling about this one from out point of view.Sheffield Wednesday have along with Bournemouth the best away defense in the league and have only lost away once since September and two all season. We have trouble scoring goals as it is.Can't see a repeat of our 6-0 and 5-0 wins against Wednesday in recent years.

Thankfully we have improved at the back since Clarke came in so i think we can get a point.Need to start winning our home games though especially with some difficult away games in February.

Hopefully they are as bad as they were at Hillsborough earlier in the season - 0-1, Their first meaningful shot, injury time and deflected.. We've certainly improved since then.

Sounded like a very good performance, especially Pogrebnyak and Williams. Change of formation and must have fooled Sheffield Wednesday as it sounded like it worked a treat. Two goals, missed penalty and a perfectly good goal ruled out for offside.

Probably our best performance of the season.Pog looked a threat up front and Williams was back to his best.Created a decent amount of chances and looked fairly solid at the back.Sheffield Wednesday had a lot of the ball second half but they didn't test Federici too much.

Piss poor penalty by Robson-Kanu though. If you are going to miss at least hit the ball with pace. Not casually side foot it.

Since Clarke has come in we are looking a lot more solid and hard to beat.Good win for Reading and much needed given the results elsewhere. The only teams in the bottom 9 to lose were Brighton and Huddersfield but in doing so they surrendered points to other sides below us in the table.

Just one of those days for us, we were shit and you lot played very well. Reminds me of the 5-2 last year.

They were awful up at Hillsborough too though, scored and won in injury time with their first meaningful shot (and even that only went in because of a deflection).

Either way, 83 minutes to register your first real attempt on goal in a home match against a struggling team, which ended up being a deflected winner wasn't exactly a good performance. (We weren't much better, but that game had 0-0 written all over it)

Based on the two games against Sheffield Wednesday this season I do wonder how they are 6 places above us, we've played much better teams who are below them in the table.

We've been woeful at home all season, utterly dreadful but away we've been solid and that's why we are six places above you, and we haven't spent the money on players you have.

Our net transfer spend this season is approximately -£9.5m...

You would have spent considerably more than us.

Both sides will finish around mid table. As Jose says Sheffield Wednesday are above us on merit. From what Brian Laws was saying on BBC Berkshire before the game on Saturday is that Wednesday's pitch isn't helping them this season.
