played off the pitch at Barrow and 1 point from the last 15... glad i predicted them near the bottom of the table - might have to downgrade them from 20th now ;)

Can't wait for the emergence of Harry Redknapp in the bookies odds coupled by the Eastleigh twitter account sending a message to him like some cheap, cringey flirt.

Arrogant or deluded, Hill is a prick.
Comfortably beaten and outplayed by Barrow a couple of weeks ago, yet all he could do was blame the ref for the defeat (the two incidents in question were both the correct decisions...). And he also came out with this corker: "I give Barrow a lot of credit. They’ve closed us down and worked very, very hard. Eastleigh are in town. "

The Mighty Eastleigh.

Looks like our win knocked them off course and cost him a job.

#Vision.

The scary thing is that they might get a semi-competent manager now.

That would be brilliant!
"Guiseley were 'triffic' today, really triffic." "Liam Dickinson, good player, good player, like him a lot"
The Saints lot who hang onto Eastleigh (when they win a couple of games) would be furious.

A quote on their forum shows just how deluded some of them are

"Can't say I blame him based on the grief he gets persistently on here despite being the Conference's most successful manager over the time he has been here.
That's football fans everywhere for you though. You're as good as your last game is the old tired cliché that comes to mind.
Our competitors will be delighted."

I bet you're all delighted that Eastleigh might get a manager who builds a team instead of building a retirement home.
Conference's most successful manager :fl:

Struggle to see who'll end up going to Eastleigh but some mercenary will take the job. Maybe building a team with a strong defence over signing a plethora of strikers over the age of 30 will do them some favours.
Stinks of Steve King. Still at Shitehawk last time I checked though.

Resigned to save being sacked? Or actually sacked but gone down the resigned line because a) sacked doesn't look good on the CV and b) the Chairman doesn't want to be see to discard a manager who's done ok for them?

Donald was on local radio yesterday afternoon trumpeting his support for Hill, saying he would have backed him "for some time to come".

Wonder if Alex Pike will be in the mix for the job?
