Really can't understand why Hill's gone. It doesn't sound like he was about to be sacked, appeared to have a great relationship with the owner and seemed to relish managing the club. Up until this season, which despite recent form hasn't really been disastrous, he's had constant success and is popular with the fans. Strange.

THE VISION - Part Three

James Constable, Josh Payne and Jack Midson were all sitting silently around a cold, steel slab, upper lips quivering. The formermost let out a little whimper, then plucked up the courage to proclaim "THE VISION IS DEAD, LONG LIVE THE VISION". Poor James had been having an uncertain time for weeks - rumours of the mythical, balding Vision being no more had led his form into a dark, decrepit slump, with his only saving grace being the briefcase of fifty pound notes he cuddled in bed at night. This outcry had given him a slight dab of relief, however, like waving goodbye to his father to go on his first residential trip at primary school.

He went to bed that evening and had the most surreal of dreams - the death of one Vision had sensationally led to another. The floating image of Steve Evans, fresh from his holidays in the Championship, armed with brown paper envelopes and the promise of a new, money-laden era. In nothing but polka-dot socks and a jockstrap, he bent over, kissed little James Constable on the forehead, and whispered "Och aye Jimmy, it's coming...."

Colleagues Payne and Midson confirmed much the same dream.....a dark yet blonde, fat new Vision was on its way. They all leapt with joy, and went for a round of Orange Mocha Frappuccinos at their local Starbucks, paid for in pure gold Bullion.
