Fuck me sideways, we needed that win tonight. Prior to that, we'd only won 1 in our last 23 games, so to pick up 3pts here before the local derby is massive for us.

Still unbeaten at away - think its W1 D5 L0 - and we've definitely picked up some form of late. Goals seem less of an issue now - we've scored in all but 1 game this season, however Rochdale are more than capable of sticking 2+ in, despite drawing 2 consecutive blanks.

Last season we pasted Dale 3-0 on both occasions so I'd love a repeat, but would probably take a draw (again) in all fairness.

I think we'll stick with the same team that started tonight - perhaps Burn may regain his place as he'll return from suspension.

David Cornell

Cameron Dummigan - James Wilson - Jonathan Burn - Danny Lafferty

Liam Kelly - Jay Fulton

Danny Philliskirk - Carl Winchester - Mike Jones

Michael Higdon
I've got to be positive after tonight's result, so....

Rochdale 1-2 Latics (Higdon & Winchester)

2,143 Latics fans.

Reckon last nights win will convince a few more to go, 2500+ i reckon which is still okay compared to our home gates. 1-1.

I'm not bothering either, but that result and what looks like a good performance Tuesday will have persuaded a lot more to go.

Still a good following given our shit home gates.

Over 2500 gone now according to ticket office. Thats decent if you look at how we have started the season.
