Cheap as chips.

Everyone expected a £50 increase - so to see them being reduced by that amount is amazing.

I think selling 15,000 is more than a realistic target - and I'm pleased to hear that we have increased the matchday prices to £25. We've kept them at £20 for years - and the amount of times we're forced to pay this fee at away days like Swindon, Doncaster and Scunthorpe etc, was beginning to piss me off.

Only 658 away supporters on average visited VP in the league last season, so spare is all the 'increasing on the day ticketing price to subsidise their cheap ST's' - as what away fans bring to the coffers barely covers the policing bill.

Our matchday prices will need to go up to £35 :sad:to cover the dismal away followings that we will experience next season if still here.

I paid £520 for my ST in the Don Rogers stand for me and my 2 lads aged 11 and 15 which is pretty decent considering we could a Championship side

Do the sums add up? Any idea how many you would expect to get if your prices were the same as other clubs compared to what you get now?

Have to say fair play to your club though!

We can only go on what we sold in 06/07 - 5,000 at £350-£400. That was during a downward spiral, so who knows what we'd sell if they were £200 more.

Ours have been frozen for like the 4th year in a row.

We're also offering the 12th man initiative which if you buy a season ticket before the end of May you get added incentives (such as the programme every week)

It's as if we've got incoming investment to fund the difference....

Ours are £300 for adults, £175 for under 23s, students, OAPs and disabled. £75 for under 16, £25 for under 11.
Pretty decent, Mr. Day.

£250 at the Ricoh next season, superb value. Its a flat rate round the whole of the stadium. Reduced from a price of £280-£400 from last season (that would have been the price for the whole of season last year anyway, it was slightly cheaper in truth as we only played 21 games at the Ricoh last season)

Must be the cheapest after Bradford?

It had to be your fanbase is lowering year on year.

We've had over a 500% increase this season from when we were at Sixfields :2thumb:

But yes you are right, I think the decrease in price should see us remain about the same level as this season(unless we are competing at the top, they will then shoot up as Coventry is full of bandwagoners)

If the prices had remained the same we would have plummeted to around 6k or lower for the upcoming season. The club is on its knees tbh, I reckon we could float around L1/L2 for the next 20 years now.

£514 for ours next year. An awful lot more than many clubs at this level.

Don't want to slag the team off too much because we've finished 7th and done well in the cup but apart from the Leeds and Sunderland cup games we've been pretty gash at home this year. If we stuck prices up to £250 a lot of people would say no, could see up dropping down to 8.5-9k, that's closer to our core support. £150 is an exceptional offer and will attract a lot of people in especially if we get investment. If we get 15k sales at £150 it's the same as 9k at £250. 15k will be a big ask but achievable with those prices and the right publicity. So in that respect the sums add up.

Try only winning 5 games and going winless at home for about 4 months.

Not arguing with that, could be far worse. I remember being utter shit struggling to avoid relegation in L2 a few years ago, so try that!

But we won the joint least and lost the joint most at home in the top half this year, whereas for the past 3 or 4 years we've had a decent home record. It's been a noticeably poor year at home for us. If we hadn't had a abnormally good away record we would have been lower mid-table this year.

Thats crazy, is that the cheapest?
Nah, that's my adult ticket on the sides, think the end behind the goal is more like £412.
Can get £100 off that if you had already renewed your ticket by May 1st.

Still incredibly expensive for L1 level.

Is this a decrease on last years prices?

Before 17th June, our cheapest adult season ticket is £322, the most expensive is £450. After then, the cheapest goes up to £338 and the most expensive £473.

Realistically, the range that most people would pay is probably £322 to £406.

Right, because our fanbase is well known for its affluence.

Your prices are pretty standard anyway if you got £100 knocked off the prices he was quoting at the early bird price

We sold just under 12k in our 1st period of sales which it says is well ahead of this time last year and also remarkable considering how shit we are. Prices for our next period of sales are £380 on the kop and £490 everywhere else

Even at £250 we won't sell more than 4000.

Ours could be £150 and I doubt there would be a major increase.
